Agree he should not have been dropped, but my belief is that he’s a midfielder and should be getting a lot more time in the middle to develop.

Our midfield badly needs to be rebuilt around Milera and Gallucci should be a part of that IMO.
The Gold Coast game could have been the perfect opportunity to try Gooch on ball for significant periods of time.

“We don’t apologise for being an aggressive....”

Hinkley you twatt! You’ve got a team three quarters full of lightweights.

One oafish thug who costs more than he gives on field, one sex offender, one genuine thug full back, and an inked up useless heartless skinhead does not a tuff team make. You total tosser.

Please stay at Port, and please keep playing your tuff hit squad.

Not just us then ?!🤣

Just imagine the press conference and reports then.
Don pyke thumbing his nose at GC by playing players like Gallucci in the middle and laughing. :p

The funny thing is, they were “an aggressive team” by roughing up Neale in the first half, then in the second half they stopped doing it because it wasn’t working :D

It’s ok Ken, we know that you’ll never, ever give up
Port did their usual routine of trying to snipe the oppositions best player out of the game. The problem is this is the AFL and Neale is a professional. Somebody should probably tell Port they aren't playing in a suburban league anymore.

The real Port Adelaide players came from Port Adelaide areas, there wouldn't be many players on their list who are Port Adelaide people.

Their fans haven't cottened on to that fact.

Although we saw the spirit of those "real Port players" yesterday in the Power players, when they acted like street thugs/criminals and assaulted Neale.

Notice any sort of trend here Pete?

Nathan Fyfe #20 and Lachie Neale #56 the only outliers.

Adam Treloar - Under age selection GWS - Toss up with Shiel as to who goes #1 in the 2011 draft if available
Dylan Shiel - Under age selection GWS
Andrew Gaff - #4
Dusty Martin - #3
Stephen Coniglio - #2
Marcus Bontompelli - #4
Patrick Dangerfield - # 10 - Developed pretty well....how many AA's was that again? Or are you crediting the Cats with his development?
Scott Thompson - #16 - AA unless you're crediting the Demons with his development?

Travis Boak - #5
Ben Cunnington - #5
Clayton Oliver - #4
Josh Kelly - #2
Jackson Macrae - #6
Scott Pendlebury - #5
Tim Taranto - #2
Patrick Cripps - #13
Trent Cotchin - #2
Dyson Heppell - #8
Josh Kennedy #40 Father/Son under the old rule, 1 year before it was changed
This is why we MUST use our Carlton pick to draft in the best available mid and not trade it for Grundy or Luko.

Yep, the club is aware of our Apricot Slice Brigade who would go into cardiac arrest if we recruited a Mitch Robinson/Green type.

We only select good "clean" boys.

If we really want to become the club we all want to be it's time we stopped caring about what the apricot slice want and think. For them supporting the Crows is a day out of the house but for us it's much, much more than that.

Come on we can both cherry pick:
Mitchell
Swann
Priddis

All Brownlow Medal winning and AA mids, none taken high in the draft.

Currently a kid like Worpel was a later pick and he took our midfield to the cleaners R1.

I’m not saying talent isn’t important, but it’s not the defining factor either, continued development plays an important role.

Yes Thommo got a single AA to join Sloane and Crouch with there one off awards.

And of course we can take some credit for PD for the time he was here. He’s the really the only one that sits comfortably with our stellar 3. So 4 since inception.

At the end of the day we cannot seem to produce a midfield that wins a flag and that’s really the bottom line

Don’t know if anyone was thinking it, I was actually barracking for a Port win, or at least a close game. Brisbane win big means less chance of us having a top 4 spot.

Top 4 was gone the moment we lost to Port.

Our run home is as follows

Essendon H
Carlton A
St Kilda H
West Coast A
Collingwood H
Bulldogs A

The only game at this stage you could pencil for a definite win is St Kilda.

Essendon and Carlton we should win, but are potential danger games.

Collingwood and Bulldogs are 50/50.

West Coast away is a definite loss.

We'll most probably need to win 3 of those games to make the finals and most likely 5 games to have any hope of slipping into the top 4.
