To be honest - this year I reckon rather than dilute % it is probably just smarter to box the 6 winning chances in a tri (AVD, Moth, Baby, RC, VE, Sir D)

Really? I reckon there are quite a few chances to ruin a tri this year with an annoying third.

Entirely possible as it is every year but I feel if ever there is a year the top chances fight out all the placings this is it.

Without even looking at it it seems a solid bet - all the fact it has to be top two throws an extra spanner in the works.

They also have Tiger Moth $2.20 in the bottom group from Ashrun down which seems a gift.

Yeah saw that as well, but a horse has to finish 4. Can get similar value for top 5 at 2 bucks. Although I guess you get your money back if no one places top 4 which is likely if tiger fails.

Sir Dragonet counts as an Aussie which significantly tilts that market. Might as well just back the Moth over the internationals at 4 times the price. Hard to see the others winning IMO.

Something worth noting for next year is that the horse that was 36th in the original order of entry, True Self, who was 6kg off benchmark weight, missed out on a run. For context, Delphi, who many felt was assured of a run, was 59th in that OOE. It gets harder to get in every year.
