Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, just went to sleep in the last quarter.

The umpiring was s**t but that last quarter effort was 100% on us

What happened there?

What happened was that 3 maggots in yellow put their stamp on the game.

I blame Crocker. If he called this s**t out in the season then it had to be addressed.

Instead he grabbed ankles and let his team get shafted every week.

The holding theball rule was interpreted difderently depending on your jumper. Collingwood were allowed to drop it and we weren’t allowed to do anything.

This is the first full season I'll be able to watch North, both men's and women's, after being a very half-assed follower for 20 years.

I feel as though I'm in for more of the same with them.

That was tough when it was all there for the taking.

So much right for it all to go horribly wrong in that final quarter.

That freakish bounce for a goal & just slightly dropping off the pressure.

So bitterly disappointing.

Disappointing but at least they had a crack. Pies just dominated the last qtr (and the first as well). At the ground the umpires didn’t seem anywhere near as bad as the Freo game but they seem to really go with the team that had momentum.
Next year we have to bring in a mobile marking forward at all costs.
