If you think swinging voters are RWNJ's, you're probably so far to the left that you might just be a LWNJ.

I don't know much about the so called belt and road deal, but what i find interesting is that federal labor are not jumping up and down supporting Dan on this one. Some are even supporting the decision to tear it up, they usually all stick together.

Albo is waiting for someone to tell him what to think.

Of course pissing off our major training partner again is a first rate outcome from making an internal political point.

F1? Bledisloe cup?

all oi oi oi shit aside, London has a better claim than us (and the ones we win on attendance they beat us on global tv audience)

- Wimbledon bigger than Aus Open
- Royal Ascot bigger than Spring Carnival
- Silverstone bigger than Albert Park
- London marathon bigger than our run from Franga
- Premier League bigger than AFL
- FA Cup bigger than AFL GF
- Lords is comparable to the G (really depends upon who is playing for the TV audience)
- Wembley hosts more national football, rugby, and league matches than the G does
- 3 olympics vs 1

Its actually a smart move by the ALP

China is the enemy for most australians right now. You dont get votes siding with the enemy. They need to be apathetic on this, dont disagree with it too much, but dont endorse it either

FWIW its an MOU. An MOU is essentially an agreement to think about doing stuff with you under a possible framework in the future. It has zero commitments or binding covenants attached. Its also a very non-specific MOU. Its not like it lists specific projects, access rights, or anything like that. Its the mother of all motherhood statements about working together more..

the best tell on this was when the fed libs first jumped on it, one of the concerns flagged was it would allow Huawei to get access to our communications infrastructure in Victoria. The Vics then had to point out even if they wanted to, communications is a federal power, so the vic govt has no way to do anything in that sector.

This is a cheap political points win. Being a MOU, killing it wont directly cost jobs. And it drums up your white is right china hating base.

People (of many races) dislike China at the moment because they inflicted this virus on the world. To dismiss it as the bolded is ridiculous.

As i said i'm not all over what it is. However the bolded being the case, the current Vic Government shouldn't be concerned with it being cancelled then ?

Yeh but if you listened to her then you have lot more problems than just hating ethnic Australians, you will always have the redneck population in every country, do i wish that wasn't the case, yep but that is not a realistic option in this world.

Depends on implications. The stuff this was leading towards supporting can still be negotiated on. But imo I doubt china will want to be involved now.

We have been pandering to this group since howard

Good to see the Muppet getting his troll ears clipped.

This country has sold out to China more than enough already, don't need corrupt premiers selling out our infrastructure too.

Yep, I bet he's happy he slipped down the stairs ... can you imagine Credlin hammering him at a press conference (even the leftist MSM would probably hammer him).

Beijing Dan - Corrupt. Treasonous. Murderous. Inept. Just terrible ... the worst premier Victoria has seen.

Victorian govt has agreed with Scomo, Fed ALP and the Greens so it sounds like common sense is prevailing in Vic as well with the quisling on sick leave. Wonder if Xi will respond in the dignified considered manner you would expect of a Chinese leader or like the petulant spoilt teenager bullies he and his cronies have been acting like in recent years which must be embarrassing for the general Chinese population who deserve so much better from their govt.

No, they‘re very different. Greens are doctrinaire. Nats are all in for graft and corruption.
that is interesting for a group that suposedly works for the country folk and they are supposed to be dis interested in profit as it's most
basic level... or am I disinterested myself? The greens are getting out and about and I admire their punctuation of the need for
every cattle head to work for the environment..
