I wouldn’t argue they’re all quick at all. Some absolutely- Motlop when he wants to be, Amon. But Fantasia is more shifty than flat out quick - extremely agile and good at identifying space. The others aren’t slow but they’re not necessarily quick either (although I can’t profess to being able to pick Bonner out of a lineup)

Your actually correct there with his juniors. He missed pretty much all of his u17's year with a knee injury (pretty sure it was ACL) and a good chunk of his u18 year with shoulder surgery.

Cerra isn't a wingman, he is a inside mid. If you think trading out Brayshaw for Cerra to play on Gus' wing and we'll get this huge improvement you're going to be disappointed. He doesn't have the pace or tank to be an elite wingman, if he's coming to Melbourne, he's coming to be an inside mid otherwise he would just go to Carlton to play inside mid.

I’m new to AFL, but we’re a pretty good side now. That said, why would Brisbane give us 15 and 18 for a (presumably) late first a year later?

Mate, that was THREE years ago in two games where the opposition paid him no respect and a few goals fell in his lap.

He’s done nothing since then to warrant any optimism in a future at AFL level.

They've been trying to play him deep. without Brown beside him. He needs to play higher to get into rhythm.
Playing him out of position and being double teamed isn't great to get confidence up.

So we are pretty much just asking Brisbane to give us our first rounder back this year for absolutely nothing? then we send Freo pick 15 and a pick in the 20's (from Weid apparently) and then we keep that pick that we originally gave Brisbane?
so it means we get Cerra for pretty much Weid and we get a first round pick this year

I find it hard to believe you wanted to find a replacement for Fritsch because he goes missing yet you are advocating to keep Weid who played 2 good finals almost 3 years ago and plays well in the VFL.

Yes to draft a kid to oppose fritz for a spot. An 18yr old.

Fritz played his best game for us the week following. Did you fail to notice that. Ammunition for Choco to go to town with. Do you think they wouldn't use that as some needling for extra motivation.

IF, Fritz maintains that intensity of that game, we will be better for it.
