At least in Victoria, the NDIS was never anywhere but Geelong.
Thats because they were using Geelong as the "test site" to roll out NDIS, before making it more widespread
was interesting (ok impossible) to try to get disability support when NDIS coming in but not yet anywhere but Geelong and existing disability via DHS was "nah we aren't taking on anyone now that NDIS is coming"

don't think either major is going to support it, and LNP reasoning seems to have face validity "this is not a priority for the Victorian LNP"
Pretty sure Pallas said today they won't be supporting it either.

A lot of AFL footballers are overweight if using the BMI scale - I work out at least 4 times per week plus run and cycle and I'm just in the overweight category on the BMI scale as well (187cm & 90kgs)
Josh Hunt in his playing days was just below obese. I think it was 186cm and 100kgs

None of ours have gone anywhere near having anything other than an "Excellent" reading and we haven't noticed any discernable change in air quality in any of the areas they are placed.

I'm sure that $120m could have been put to much better use.
I honestly believe they we put in place for a psychological placebo effect. I heard a lot of mums complaining how they are not going to take their kids to school in the new year due to COVID. I suspect though, just like a lot of Dan haters they are a noisy minority

All I really remember from 2018 was there were a bunch of Fire fighters at the polling center trying to talk people into voting against Andrews

Can’t recall any in 2018, in 2014 there were plenty of fake ‘volunteer’ firefighters telling people to vote for Dan.

No one? You’re down to a few individuals now after claiming many normal people were radicalised.

Progress.

I still think many conservatives have become radicalized under Andrews but seeing as you think - many people have not died of the virus.

I thought it'd be easier to use a different word.

Formula is nothing more than morons x anger.

Costello Media just reporting what the Housing Industry told them in the headline, uncritically. Not mentioning the thousands of new houses for homeless people.

There's reasons why house prices won't ever crash like some dream it will. Always propped up by some scheme or another.

Decentralisation is one of those weird areas where Labor, Libs and the Nats have some common ground.
Worksafe was moved to Geelong in a process that spanned both the Libs and Labor being in power, and Barnaby got his wish to move the APVMA to Armidale NSW
it is amazing how both parties federally talk about decentralisation but for every job moved to Armidale far more are moved to Canberra without the media or politicians commenting. Have a look at Defences publically issued annual reports since Payne directed more consideration of staff outside Canberra- every state and territory now has less Defence staff in it except for Canberra where hundreds of positions have been moved to or created in costing tens of millions in high lease costs, drawing on a smaller potential workforce and even more out of touch with actual outcomes.

And as has been noted, if you ‘think’ that it’s more representative of the people you associate with than it is of the population of Victoria at large.

Consumer confidence is tied to housing prices and pollies can't afford a crash.

Oh the irony.

Imagine going to Joe Hildebrand as an authority on anything 😂😂😂

Strong understanding of cause and effect at play here.
