Totally agree with the bolded. Highly doubt we'd see that from another particular supporter base.

If they lost by 10 goals, then sure it may be bit of an over reaction by the players

But they gave their all over 4 quarters and left nothing out there - I don't blame them for that initial reaction of disappointment

We played poorly but hey… the W is in the bank.

Rohan, Atkins, Zuthrie just guaranteed their selection for the Prelim. Henry is lucky because it's very unlikely Kolo plays after another injury. Miers had a poor game which could see Parfitt come in. I'd prefer Parfitt to Dangerfield to be honest. Danger's disposal is woeful. Stanley had a shocker which might make a case for playing Ceglar and Stanley if Melbourne gets through to the prelim. O'Connor did enough to either come into the 22 or remain as Sub.

Danger stays in purely for his ability to win it at the coalface. His quality is dropping off but he still gets the hard balls and delivers them out to open ground.

I wasn’t worried after the 1 quarter - they were so dominant but ended up only a couple of goals ahead, things could only get better.

I thought we’d come back and win easily. I got that part half-right.

Too good? Suck job. Congratulations to the winner but Dangerfield had a better grasp of the game than you. It could so easily have gone the other way.

Thanks! Confirms my impression at the ground. His sheer willpower and ferocity at the contest was huge. It's great that he lifts when the contest is at its most intense. The next step for him will be to sustain it for an entire game...

You just said we lacked height in defence, and MOC is a defender who knows how to play there.
Parfitt gets in now as a sub as a minimum.
Maybe comes in for Miers who could be the sub. Miers was pretty ordinary
We will most likely play Melbourne, and Stanley would want to pull his finger out.

Because i think our defence is strong enough without kolo to succeed whereas i think our midfield transition is a real weakness so parfitt is more essential than moc.

Agree on stanley he needs to lift when we are this close to a flag. I wonder if we do drop him for the prelim.

They’re obviously not the same one show were at the game. Great to see some fans with respect here. None shown at the ground living up to their reputations delux.

Stanley had just about his worst game ever. Zero marks. Hopefully he just played his last game. Ceglar or Rat are so much more worthy.

Stanley had a shocker. Even when he wins taps they are to 50/50 situations. Tough call next game especially since he as owned Gawn in a few games.

Never understood the criticism of pies fans. They're one-eyed, sure. Support their club hard. Defend their own. Respect that.
