see plenty of options for the midfield
Sincs to the midfield is what flicked the switch last nightWell I don't believe moving the competitions best half back flanker away from that area full time is going to help us win a flag
There is no one on our list that I see getting close to matching his output back there
I see plenty of options for the midfield
No RTB is doing bothWe're trying to win a flag- noting that all of crouch, sinclair, hill, steele, marshall, wilkie, ross, wood etc are all 27+
Developing guys like pou, owens, windy as mids comes secondary when you are trying to win a flag (in the next few years before all those guys are 30+).
Those kids can get a taste for mid action sure- but no way should we be making it a TOP priority.
If playing sincs as a fulltime mid means we are a better team overall now (especially when coffield comes back), then that needs to be the priority.
I don't think he's that much better that it would be worth moving himYes there are plenty of options for the midfield. My point is sincs as a mid is better than all of them.
So much better than all of them infact; that I think we could have say coffield giving us 85% of his halfback output (while sincs played mid)- and we would be a better team

Last night was the perfect mix IMOSincs to the midfield is what flicked the switch last night
He will play a lot more mid minutes then he has in the past
No RTB is doing both
Agreed, perfectly balanced and went in at the correct time.Last night was the perfect mix IMO
7 centre bounce attendances out of about 25
He was great when he was in there but also amazing off half back
Needs to get him a position and stick with it.Given the improvement we've seen from the kids under Ross. People are far far far too quick to write off Allison
He's a quality player in a poor system. I'd say he's an upgrade for sureIs Ben Ainsworth an upgrade on Butler?

Nar. Fans get seduced by his high draft range. In reality he’s a small marking forward that has been exposed at AFL level. We need to find our Kosi Pickett. Is Ben Ainsworth an upgrade on Butler?

He reminds me of a mason wood type. High aerobic capability.
Curious, what makes you think he is a Ross type?He reminds me of a mason wood type. High aerobic capability.
I think just get games into him in the VFL and let him mature.
He seems a Ross type tbh
No one is offering a 1st for Membrey.Just thinking out loud, not saying we should or shouldn't but what if....
A team offers us a first rounder for membrey? Can make a pretty good argument either way imo.
Thoughts?
