His 'highlights' package is one of the worst you will see.
Hopefully he is better than that.
Yeah, It's probably a better way to get a full picture of a players game. Not too many positives in there though. Are you talking about the video earlier in this thread?
If so, the person who puts those videos together doesn't always just include 'highlights'. Just moments where the player was involved.
Because the AFL don't backflip on decisions ever?Do this and they've backflipped on last year's change that saw Kako land at the Dons.
Wont happen.

For what it's worth I think he'll be in our NGA and the AFL will do something to the academy's and the bidding process, but I don't know what. If we want him we'll get him though, just dont know at what (or if any) discount.
But the Tassie team entering in a few years lays the platform for a fairly decent overall of both the father son and academy system. I'd expect change.
The AFL have made a habit of consistently moving the goal post with this stuff under the banner of "fairness". And in my opinion operate too reactionary to each individual draft group. It's the same mistake we all make, we try to evaluate a draft right after its done rather than waiting 5 years to see how clubs actually faired.I thought the AFL had already made their changes and it is pretty much finalised now.
If they continue to change the system every year surely they will open their self up for complaints and potentially legal action from several clubs.
Thanks, very well explained, i always thought the AFL runs like that, they want everyone to love them and doing so....The AFL have made a habit of consistently moving the goal post with this stuff under the banner of "fairness". I don't think its a conspiracy against just us, I've worked at multiple clubs and they all share the same feeling of annoyance regarding rule changes. The AFL make their job hard because they do genuinely try to please everyone, you just can't.
I was particularly involved with junior players and the draft system. Clubs are bracing for a large overhaul over the next year or two (which they hope will be the last and final change). The feeling is the AFL will use Tassie entering the comp and whatever draft and trading concessions they get as a way to justify these changes. This will also lay the ground work for the 20th team.
There will be changes that clubs want (trading future picks over multiple years) but there will also be changes to the bidding systems that will annoy others and please others (one particular club president has made his feelings very well known).
The AFL will sign off on it but with a caveat in place. Draft capital at a minimum. Could part with good picks just to sign him up. They will see it as nobody being disadvantaged. Watch what happens.
How about we all wait to see what happens before we all agree that the AFL will do anything to **** Hawthorn over?
Why though? How about we all wait to see what happens before we all agree that the AFL will do anything to **** Hawthorn over?

All this talk of draft and race makes me think of this classic Dave Chappelle bit![]()
IMO Coop unlikely to choose lions as it is unsure if lions will even pick him, they have 3+ better academy prospects for that draft. In their opinion Coop has not developed as much as others. Coop would also likely be picking up on this feeling and so if he was any wise, will go the F/s route and also improve his skills.Seems unlikely to me Kobe would choose another Victorian team over the hawks. Only reason I see cooper potentially choosing lions is that the family lives in Brisbane.

Right, sorry sorry. How about we all wait to see what happens before we all agree that the AFL will do anything to **** Hawthorn over?
Absolutely not. The AFL don't want any kind of success for us.Could it be possible that the AFL might actually want this for us? A kind of help clear our name from the racism scandal, that we have protocols in place and better systems for indigenous players, learnt from previous mistakes kind of deal (that reflects better on them as well).
Ill give you your due , you post some interesting stuff .Can I ask if you know was Coop at the family day, with Luke for Ex players as hopefully he made lots of new friends with father sons that he may play with in the future.
So is his dadKobe Williams is passionate about Hawthorn

I'm still trying to catch up on the last few pages...Kobe Williams is passionate about Hawthorn
I believe he was hanging out with Glenn Nugent and Simon Crawshay.I'm still trying to catch up on the last few pages...
Did Kobe attend the recent Family Day & become friends with Cooper Hodge?
And, did they do 1-on-1 drills with Meek/Newk?
Thanks in advance!
