ROB was absolutely horrible he is AFL’s dumbest smartest footballer ever!

Soligo had a shocker
Hinge was bad too confident too casual
Sholl is under 14 level

Dawson made uncharacteristic mistakes
Max had perhaps his worse game

Very disappointing

When Geelong won a contested ball between the middle of the ground and their forward 50 in the second half, 100% of them resulted in Inside 50s compared with 59% of ours.

That is a staggering stat - a midfield completely sh*tting itself defensively with coaches - Nicks and Van Berlo - doing absolutely nothing about it.

Lost at selection, yet again.

One KPD, who hasn't played 100 games of footy in his life, was absolutely stupidity.

ROB hopeless as well.

We're not going to win a flag under Nicks.
We're not going to make finals unse Nicks

Pathetic

Failed at the start by selected junior footballer Sholl and galloping bird O'Brien. Both useless

Hinge and Laird horrible, too rocky and cost us.

Structure fell apart due to knob of a coach

No change in the centre, put Curtin, Draper hell even Milera in there, rinse and repeat and hoping for change is not coaching

Cats beat us the same way they always do,
No doubt our legs were shot 2nd half, most of the team down in performance.
Midfield smashed in the centre, backline comical at times
Don't want to single out players most were poor
We still a bit off the best teams

Special mention to Cumming thought he was good 👍

Geelong thoroughly deserved that. What a professionally well prepared outfit.

It's so obvious that our biggest issue is the coaching, still.

Our setup all year really has been that we'd concede goals, but then punch you in the face the other way based on pure forward half talent, not because of good coaching. That is completely unsustainable.

It'd take composure and some tweaks in the second half tonight to win, because Geelong are well coached.

Our coaches aren't that smart. Nicks also mentioning the 5 day break at every opportunity, and then the players mentioning it repeatedly, just rams home that fact - considering he was offered the extended quarter time and half time breaks and refused them. It's either dumb, arrogant, or both.

It both

Good - Slim pickings
Fog
Tex
Cumming

Bad - So much to choose from
Almost every player made a stupid error that led to a Cats goal.
Dawson
Soligo
Rankine

Ugly - So much to choose from
ROB - just retire him, play Wines in the ruck
Crouch - clearly still hampered by his injury - horrible selection
Sholl - too weak, would be useless in September - horrible selection
No Butts - why not?? - horrible selection
No backbone when the heat was on - we looked a million dollars against the 4 non-finalists from last year.
First test against a finals team and we went to water - pathetic.

I was derided last week for stating Nicks & Co stuffed up for not using the heat protocols, this is why - we had a 5 day break, any opportunity for extra rest in game last week should have happened, club (misplaced) arrogance at its best.

And how the **** does Geelong keep getting expensive players like Bailey Smith while retaining existing stars? It stinks.
Why wouldn't you want to play for the best coach in the league who is a pure winner in everything he does?

Good: Fogarty's second quarter, Sid's Goal, Keays' efforts, Walker's cameos.

Bad: lack of composure, stupid mistakes, Hinge, Soligo, Dawson, Laird, Hinge, so many throws

Ugly: ROB, "not 15"

And yes I know Hinge is there twice, but he was so bad I had to mention him again.
