The Good.

.....................................................

The Bad.

Getting sucked into believing that this club has turned the corner. Thank god we were found out now and not in finals.

ROB - the most pathetic 1st choice ruckman in our history. Just woeful.

Holmes and Smith - showed our bunch of front running B-grade midfielders what true hard working A grade midfielders look like.

Curtin - really poor.

Dawson - one of his worst games for the club.

Tall defenders - bottom 4 quality.

Michalanney on Cameron - LOL. Massie on Franklin

ANB - two poor weeks.

Sholl - soft. Delist.

Nicks tactic on Smith:

Let him run loose and run amok
Then play Dawson on him who does not have the speed, acceleration or discipline to match him and why would you waste Dawson in a defensive role anyway.

Then Taylor, Zac Taylor, let me repeat Zac Taylor. He is not a ****ing run with player and especially against a guy who is on fire.

Peatling was on him for what, 2 mins if that. That’s your ****ing match up you idiot.

Draper, how much midfield time?

119others that’s why starting poxy threads and praising a dud coach is 12 year old stuff, just idiotic.

cold truth is we have 1 key defender in murray. as soon as he's out we're dreadful. keane was good in the first half and then just reverts back to his usual clown self second half. worrell looked completely lost. he has been around long enough that it's not acceptable. once again we have no matchup for cameron.

any chance of sticking anyone on smith at half time? why did curtin not go back at all? as soon as geelong got momentum all game we did nothing and hoped they made mistakes. they did in the first half, and didnt in the second. extremely arrogant or stupid coaching?

We lost that game ourselves, but special shout out to those who thought we'd get a cushy run from the umps after last week.
Club has spent years meekly accepting the AFL's apologies even when it costs us finals and then here we are again, bending over once more and copping it

Thank you Keane and Laird for your moronic brain fades

Drop both of them and be done with it
And Hinge, and Nank, and Sholl?

So many terrible, terrible errors

Bad:
We lost because the effort wasn't there defensively in the midfield and wasn't there on the ground ball in defence.

Ugly:
Giving up 5 goal leads because we can't handle red time.

Absolute junk:

Handball chains ending with ROB
Any voluntary disposal directed to ROB
Unbelievable how many times they go to him and how many times he ***** it up.

Kate McCarthy said it perfectly on Triple M just now

“Crows have all the ingredients but have no idea how to close out close games. Won 2 of their last 17 games decided by under 15 points. Need to learn how to win these to become a good team”

That’s coaching error, pure and simple

Get Nicks out
Perfectly said and that is a horrifying stat.

It all comes back to on ground leadership. When the going gets tough, we lose our heads, which has been the story of this group.

One example that stands out was the Fogarty pass in the third (and I'm going to be honest, this is when losing becomes a real possibility to me). Darcy is on fire, 4 goals and we have been swamped. He gets a set shot from a position that he is borderline automatic, and what does he do? Pass it, and underhits it at that (and gets lucky with an umpires call, which Soligo doesn't convert). When we needed a leader to step up, he shirked it. As much as good moments can galvanize a team, moments like undo it.

Hinge had plenty. That minute of madness where he kicks a point, gets smothered running out defense and then, when it looks like he may recover it, he fumbles. Another one, gets a rough call on the 15 m and just casually strolls back, allowing a turnover.

We've battered down the hatches for two minutes, absorbing Geelong attack until Laird gets a free kick. What does he do? Gets close enough to the man on the mark to let it be smothered, and concedes a goal.

We have an attack on the wing with 5 minutes to go, which Keays wins with a free kick. Instead of taking a second, and setting up for a corridor kick, he tries to force the play by handballing to a man-marked Curtin, wasting an attack.

Rankine gets a turnover in space with 4 minutes left, and just kicks it straight to a Geelong player when Adelaide have two out of the back.

And it goes on, and on. This team is careless under pressure.

Stupidity.

Curtin should have been shifted on ball or sent back
