I can't handle watching finn run around anymore. Everyone can talk about his defensive running , but when he has the ball he is so clunky, fumbles or rushes it. So many of his possessions were direct turnovers to the Suns.

It wasnt, he got subbed out and Collins takes over the airways as a result because Sis had another shocker replacing Dear up forward. I said a quarter ago to not sub him off and we do and we than have issues bringing the ball to ground almost straight away. Sometimes a pre plan needs to be changed during the course of the game depending how the game is going. He was starting to have an impact and we sub him. Didn't agree with it sorry.

Agree with this, Dear was just starting to impact contests positively and boom , he’s subbed out.

The other side is Bailey Mac was very good though should’ve come on for someone else.

If Finn's game was to shut out Rowell, he wasn't great either. 0 tackles for a defensive based player is really disappointing. Missed our big mids this week. Day, Meek, Nash.
Our depth in Ward and Mackenzie played well but were let down by our defensive mids.
Maybe I'm searching for a scapegoat though.

It annoys me that Maginness keeps getting named and then turning in the performances that he does. If he was still the specialist lock down player that he made his name as I could respect that but he seems to think he's a genuine midfielder which he is just not. Even his high possession games are bad. You're better making 12 tackles for 8 possessions than no tackles for 30 shit possessions and 10 turnovers.

It was disappointing to see Noble and Rioli do what they like from half back for four quarters. For Noble to get over a km gained was frustrating. At times, they went coast to coast with ease.

Difficult to stomach our skipper having a few kicked on him by Long. If he wasn't captain I reckon he'd find himself down at Box Hill.

On the plus side, the intensity was there. Scrimshaw looked in great touch, wizard is special and Chol's goal from the pocket was a thing if beauty. Ginni looked great too - maybe Croc could do with a spell in the magoos to find some touch like Jack...

Hodge approached him and had a chat it wasn't the other way around either. Hodge has tried reaching out several times but got nothing. The least Cyril could do is respond with " I'm not ready to talk right now Hodgey leave me be for a bit" but he's completely shunned most of his ex team mates. It's getting quite sad now considering we are doing everything we can to bring him back into the fold. I understand Cyril's grievances I truly do but at some point the healing has to begin in order to move forward.

Not at all, I just rate the players coming in more than Harry.

Harry is limited, it is why no one came for him when he was out of contract. I believe he was the last player signed by the Hawks.

6 touches, 0 marks, 1 clearance, gave our mids no advantage (other than 1 nice tap to Ward) and was lumping around. I don't think we can call that honourable.

But agree about Sicily. Had another shocker. His head isn't in the game.

Where is his head though? I feel he's playing a bit too (Brett) Heady. Just needs to play on instinct. Maybe he's gotten us to this point as captain (Zorko style) but to free him up again another bloke needs to step up.

The way Scrimmers throws himself back into contests after 2 concussions is just an absolute credit to the man.

The change to the rucking rule last year has simply doomed Ned Reeves.

They got the rub of umpires, and the bounce of the ball, for the first quarter and a bit...but they also absolutely annihilated us out of the stoppage with ease on way too many occasions.

Nash was missed big-time, and without Day, we are a dose of class short of a real premiership side...lets hope he is back in August.

I am very frustrated with the decision making and skills of a few of our players at the moment...you can probably guess who...

Those laying in Reeves are just way off and wrong. He was very honorable and honest in his effort. They should shift their criticism onto our Captain whose general play is deplorable. To the point I cringe when he gets ball in hand.

Totally agree. They have no idea. In the last when Noodle went off to have a rest, this is when they got away early in the last. He was up against two rucks for the most part and Weddle got smacked when he went in the ruck.

Had Croc and Mass kicked those goals in the last, it may have been different.

We made a semi final without Lewis. He's barely played for the last 3 years. He'll have to fight to be back in the side. Can't play 4 tall forwards and 5 tall backs.

Very proud of the effort tonight of the the team we had out there though, taking everything in to consideration.

Nick Watson is a very exciting player and he we will be a joy to watch for years to come.

James Sicily has become a mystery i don't know what's happening but his last few weeks have been the worse ive seen him play for year's
