Most other sides would beat us by 70plus this week. But with Freo I don't know. Speaking to someone close to gws, the giants were flat last week they had played 6 of their first 9 games on the road. Freos win last week was not as impressive as it seems.
Before that they were as bad as us. This game has the potential to be tight. Smells a bit like the ken saving game against the saints last year. Hope I'm wrong as I want freo to finish us so the pressure intensifies on ken and Koch in particular.

I can just imagine how pissed off be would have been answering a question about the succession plan. Especially these lines:
“We expect to get better. And we will not be distracted."

“We have nothing other than Fremantle on our minds," Hinkley said

We’re gonna get exposed on the ground and lack of speed down back with those three talls aren’t we?😩

Not sure there will be 3 talls if Esava is walking laps at training.

“Boak, Brandon Zerk-Thatcher and Rory Atkins who have a lot of football experience can come in and be really strong players for us. And very good players. That gives us opportunity.”

Its Happening Ron Paul GIF

Funny how he mentions the old blokes first then oh yeah we got a few youngens after, classic ken

We've got quite a few injuries again. Quite a few at the start of the year, started to get some players back and the injury list was starting to look okay but it has blown out again.

I know we are playing terrible footy in a transition/treading water year but the injury list has made it harder for us to get consistency. It doesn't explain the white flags being raised in second halves when we get a few goals down, but it has contributed to why we get those few goals down in the first place.

JHF is obviously a massive out, especially against a strong midfield like Freo's. We can't replace him, but the other injuries aren't the end of the world.

Getting some experience back with Boak and BZT i think could help and of the young ones i would like to see Jackson given a game.

And contrary to popular belief i don't think Ratkins is that bad. Do we actually lose much by replacing Sinn with him?

Seems to happen to us more often than it should. Feels like the medical department are too comfortable in their role. Need a thorough review of all the backroom staff and coaching staff etc etc.

Anyone that thinks just swapping out Hinkley will fix the problem is delusional. In fact, if we don't sort out the rest, we will probably go backwards.

We probably should've been more open to bringing back Burgess.

Freo have 3 talls - Treacy, Amiss and Voss, so we need 3 to match. Only issue is that both Treacy and Voss are mobile, and our 3 talls aren't exactly that.

EDIT: Esava out apparently.. ouch

I have a weird understanding of what it is to be a Freo fan at the moment. I can't even trust them to brutalise the dessicated corpse of a Hinkley coached Port.
