What game of behind that was. I think if the Crows had their gps on, they should have taken a large lead to potentially demoralize the Hawks.

Apparently the Crows players have complained that they are uncomfortable. Anyways, not sure they would have helped last night.

It's literally the single most important determinant that decides the result. It's amazing how many games have been lost this season due to inefficiency.

He took them on and than dropped it, HTB everyday of the week. Only issue I had is minutes later CMac did the same thing and we got a ball up in the 50. That was a reason for Crows fans to be upset about a non call.

Those saying to drop Seamus need to re-watch our last weeks. It's no wonder Impey has been performing so well with extra freedom. It is by far the best our structure has looked this year.

Correct. Had Seamus been in against Collingwood he negates Bobby Hill and allows Jars to be more offensive. A few positional changes down back and all of a sudden teams can't score and it's teams that score freely as well.

Great stuff. Another 4 wins should almost guarantee a finals spot. Looking at the FIXture I can see us possibly winning 6, aided by some players returning from injury. Hopefully we can hit some good form after the bye.

Key is to sneak into the top 4 — which would guarantee an MCG QF or PF (given Geelong and Collingwood are locks). Probably need to find a way to win 2 out of Fremantle (away), Adelaide (away) Collingwood and Brisbane (away) to get there though…

If only we found a way to win that Suns game in Darwin…

Scrimshaw was imperious last season, and early on this season too prior to the injury interruptions.

I can understand moving Sicily around given his form and injury issues - mind you I was absolutely adamant that he stays in defence coming into this season. But whilst he's somewhat hobbled maybe a new role will help him.

Scrimshaw, Barrass and Battle aren't too many talls. Especially given Weddle can play a variety of roles.

Loving Butler in the side and what he's bringing. He's such a different and better player in new role.
How he fits into the side when we get Will and Worps back I don't know but I think he really needs to stay.

Yeah it’s amazing how players can show their strengths when played in an appropriate position.

Agreed, maybe CJ and Scrim could share a wing and HBF in game.

Scrim is a left footer and CJ a right. They would play opposite wings. Scrim would be competing directly with Mass for a wing position. Same applies to Amon if he was used as a wing.

CJ would need to challenge for Morrison's spot on the other wing.

I watched the game out without a lot of commentary and I haven't read the comments on here so my views will be quite raw and maybe not in line with others. Firstly what an absolutely horrible game that neither team deserved to win.

I could probably damn five players of ours that had a good game and it would be about the same for them. Happy to get the win with that being said

Impey was close to being best on. One player that tried all night and apart from being culpable for a soft goal in the second quarter was probably our best

There's something about CMac that Ginni and
Morrison don't have. It's called ticker.
Even when he stats are down I feel like you bring something to the game and it showed tonight. Has a crack composed and not a bad kick

Tom Barrass is just a smart player. Reminds me of Lake so much. He probably didn't have his best game last night but just does smart things

Despite shocking kicking in the last quarter Gunstons smarts around goal I really valuable

I like what Chol brings to the team. He's a good set shot and makes a contest.

Hardwick isn't and never will be A grade but you know what you're going to get with him. Tough uncompromising effort with good enough skills that he isn't a liability. Keep in in the backline

Umpiring both ways.

HH and Butler. I'm sorry but these guys are good VFL players not AFL players. They'll probably yoyo in and out of the team after a good performance in the VFL and then a s*** performance in the AFL but they're just not up to it

Harry Morrison is also not an AFL player.
He plays probably three or four decent games a year just when he's about to get dropped and the rest of the time is bog average. I don't know what he actually brings the team. He soft never seen him take a contested Mark. An ok kick but slow

I'm happy to give Ramsden another chance because of the conditions but he really needs to convert better

Next time instead of worrying about the commentary just make sure you're not punch drunk before you watch any game. Clueless.

Just logged on. Special mention to Dimma. He was huge down back. Had the Tex Walker matchup in the last quarter and pulled his pants down.

The way Hardwick clunked that mark on the back flank when we we were 3pts down with a few mins left and then started aggressively directing traffic before hitting up Weddle on the chest with a switch into the midfield was the clutch moment of the game. Honourable mention to Morrison out-marking two crows in the midfield at the death.

The way teams are sitting on Newcombe is really annoying. It's not tagging it's total scragging.

We'll be such a different team when we get another A grade mid with him. Whether it's Day, or Worpel getting up to his peak capabilities again, or Ward/McKenzie hitting a new level.
