I agree with Hoos

Your post was complete bollocks.

Fancy saying that we need to find tall forwards! We've just recruited 3 of the best in the land and of course Lynch is past his prime, but he's not there to win us games, he's there to teach the wunderkinds what it takes to win and more importantly what it takes to win finals.

You seem to want instant gratification and that's not going to happen, open your eyes and see exactly what's going on.

Hence the statement "You have to be kidding!"
how was my posts bollocks ?

1) Lynch is past his prime....fact.
2) Our tall forwards cannot convert. fact.
3) We DO need to find a tall who can convert. Absence is no excuse for complacency.....

My point, can you imagine how we would go with a young JACK R ?

Went there thinking 50 goal whipping, felt like a 4 goal loss. Daicos is something special. **** he can play. 40/3 game. Insane. If Alger and Trainor had of goaled today, 5 first year players would have scored goals against the top side on the ladder. Our speed of ball movement has improved dramatically. We took em on. Trainor has a sore hip, so wouldn't mind him getting a rest. Hopefully we see Taranto and Campbell back in next week. And Sonsie was good again today. Balta up forward made us so much more mobile than Lynch. Pretty happy camper right now.

It would be nice if someone went with Daicos, he destroyed us. He’s on our team today and we win.
We tried Ross on him in the 2nd quarter. It didn't matter.

Less than 60k is a bit disappointing

60K disappointing surely you jest. You must remember we are in a rebuild, bottom 3. 60K is good.
What that tells you is when the tigers rise again, there will be 80K+.

We had good support today, all things considering, as you would expect, being our home game.
Pies top of the ladder, making noise, which is what you would expect from a team in the top 4 and challenging for a flag..

Let's see how your crowds will be when the pies drop down the ladder in the next couple of years, how empty the Ponsford stand will be. Should all MCG co-tenants then demand that the contract be torn up.

Your home game and first since the new arrangement.
It’s a disappointing crowd.
Maybe they were in the Harrison room enjoying the dining and heated facilities, anyway we DGAF what you think, our members are not giving up seats on home games for your members anymore so EAD

Not as disappointing as the prelim turnout when the Pies got to play GWS at the MCG recently. Embarrassing really.

our set shots at goal are a big let down. And our tall forwards are not that. gotta search for a tall.
Lynch is waay past his best.
Simms will grow into that big, tall forward. I don't see him as a forward ruck. Faul and Armstrong are more the mobile tall forward type. Right now, I am expecting Lynch to retire this year. I think that's why we re-signed Fawcett and have Falau as backups until Simms develops.

lol filth couldn’t crack 100 against us…they are not who the media are pfaffing on about…they’ll go out in straight sets

Make no mistake…we took it up to them…we just lacked polish and finish…get more games into the kids and look out…happy days

…And Faikos….31 uncontested zero tackles 5 turnovers, …no one tagged him…he just ran to space and got cheap ball
Watch how he cracks under the pressure against crows, bears etc
