Unable to actually acknowledge my point that a 3 day extra break isn’t just a regular scheduling disadvantage but actually a massive one? Given that this round was only scheduled very recently, when the ladder was already taking shape? OK. 👍🏼
The 3 day break is obviously an advantage as is you coming back from WA.

We're looking at a fixture where the Lions 6 double up games are all against top 10 teams - whilst Cats only play 2 and Adel play 3 of the top 10 teams in their double up games. Collingwood 4. Some teams have 2 5 day breaks - Coll and Brisbane fit this bill - and some have none - Adelaide have 1.

So yes Adelaide have drawn a short straw in this coming week. However, to be complaining about a single game fixture disadvantage when over the course of the season you get an extra home game and play easier opponents than some of the other teams in contention is a wee bit rich.

In Rd5
Adelaide played Thursday night v Geelong at AO
GWS played Sunday arvo against StK

In Rd6
Adelaide hosted GWS in Sat twilight game at AO

Absolutely outrageous that Adelaide got such an advantage, 3 day advantage plus a home game.

Oh wow. ‘A wee bit rich’……. Says a supporter of a club that plays 17 games - yes, you heard right folks - 17 games out of 24, in Melbourne. 😂 And then has the audacity to say Adelaide ‘get an extra home game’. 😂😂😂
Seriously - there needs to be a ban on ANY Collingwood supporter ever posting anything on BF about fair or unfair scheduling! Blanket ban!

Collingwood play 5 games with a home state advantage. Adelaide 11. Swings and roundabouts. Or just sooks and sulks and cries from some.

Yeah Adelaide get a bonus home game and have gotten an easier fixture, have also had this longer break advantage - that's before looking at byes. But hey you've bought into victim culture. Good luck to you. Keep looking to count up the things that are disadvantageous and ignore the advantageous parts. It's an easy game that everyone can play.

Collingwoods advantage is so big that they're the only team that plays 24 matches in a season?

Adelaide do an extra return flight to Melbourne once every 6 weeks. It's an unbearable hardship. Having an extra home game and easier opponents couldn't possibly compare to that hardship.

They did, but I first mentioned it at the end of rd 7 at which point it was 23-10.

So not even close to the 19-1 fauna mascot advantage? It's the mascot - that's why Port are being well and truly ripped off - just look how much more successful you were as fauna - you used to win the flag every year. The whole mascot thing flipped after a mascot review at the end of 2004 - since then nada for Big Vic clubs like the Bombers and the Blues or Port. vicbias doesn't explain the Bombers and the Blues sucking - but faunabias certainly does.

It got out to +20 so trumps your fauna.

And don't forget that of the 5, we actually play one of them at a venue where we are less familiar than the "away" team.

So in practice, we really only get 4 games with a true home ground advantage at our actual home ground against a travelling opponent. We play 5 teams away...a negative overall position from ground advantage perspective.

Adelaide enjoy 11 games at the AO against a travelling opponent, where they enjoy a significant home ground advantage, but they only play 8 away games at the actual home ground of their opponents.

SA teams (and Geelong) have the easiest H&A fixture, no surprise that those teams dominate the H&A ladder.

No it doesn't. 70-48 or whatever you've calculated it as does not trump 19-1 in terms of bias. Not even close. Perhaps you could request to wear the prison bars and be known as the Magpies again. Should go well.
So you mob have got most home games advantage, most games at GF venue advantage, highest free kick differential advantage, the h2h free kick advantage, softest draw advantage and, now you want to claim mascot advantage too.

Ffs Vicco's, can you achieve anything on merit.
Its gotten to the point where we'll have to put our scarves out as a show support.
I cant even be mad at 119 anymore, you need every point you can get.

And this year the respective double ups means that Adelaide and Geelong also have easier home and away opponents than the other contenders - yet an Adelaide fan is still finding things to complain about as though they're being discriminated against. Other than the Cats, they've gotten lucky with a better fixture than everyone else in contention.

Its worse now

Hawks 15
Bulldogs 14
Bombers 13
Melbourne 13
Geelong 13

Adelaide 12
Sydney 12
Brisbane 12
Carlton 11
Collingwood 10
Fremantle 9
Saints 8
GC 8
Richmond 7
West Coast 7
GWS 7
Port 5
North 4
Non Vic clubs 'won' the Free kick count in every game they played this past weekend? How did it become worse?

And long may it continue, the more you cry the happier I’ll be.

I used to think it was best to try and reason with you people, but I have since discovered you have no intention of trying to reason through anything and just want to endlessly complain about how hard it all is.

So…… here’s to an endless life of misery ahead where you pretend you’re an underdog and spend your weekends complaining about umpires.

What a time to be alive.

That was karma for every time they lost the count mate, you’re not getting it.

Or as the crazy guy said, ‘someone at AFL house told them to even it up’ after we got a head start.

These people are straight up nuffies mate. They want to be miserable.

Everytime there is a challenge their first thought is to check what disadvantage they may have, it’s the victim life they choose.

The fact that the AFL can't schedule an all interstate Friday night game without a dud Vic game next to it proves this is a vias league. Imagine if the NFL had 16 teams out of NYC and no one else played primetime without one of them. It's crazy

What’s also a wee bit rich is a Collingwood supporter claiming there are “swings and roundabouts” in the fixture, while enjoying 17 games in Melbourne and leaving Melbourne once since the middle of May.
