With other bottom teams taking it up to their more fancied opponents this round, this game could have been a 4 quarter struggle.

We did exectly what you want in a game like this, get the job done early so you can play out the game however you want.

Yes we could have kicked straighter but sometimes you just have days like that, doesn't mean we won't kick 15.6 or similar in 2 weeks.

Got the win, locked up top 2 and seemed to get through healthy. Now the real stuff starts

John Ralph alert. With 7 seconds left, Stewart possibly glances Rioli high going for the ball. Nothing in it but I predict a media report from the Richmond lover-Geelong hater.
I saw that, and it didn't look bad but Rioli stayed down for a bit before getting up.

Then again Tiggies players love to milk staying down so its hard to know.

It will happen. The job oconnor did last week is why it will plus he offers more versatility.
Bews only small chance of playing the QF is if they drop bowes but I dont think thats likely.

It would've been if a final, but it wasn't, so today was about ensuring the win, then finishing out the game without injury or exhaustion.

They played to the bigger picture.

Yep. Keeping our petrol tickets for bris/coll/Hawks as we should.

Inaccuracy remains. Conditional efforts remain.

The only positive from today is no injuries.

Often you start how you finish. 7 goals to 3 in the second half is not good enough. Will be all too predictable if we find ourselves down by 3 or 4 early in a fortnight.

Chris Scott would be quite frustrated.

Top 2 locked with no injuries or reports and zero efforts in the last qtr

No complaints and on to the finals
Fox footy trying to make a case against Stewart for hip to head contact on Rioli.

Issue is, Tom was chasing the ball had it in front of him and Rioli tried to reach in. Stewart had no other option than continuing with a straight line with the ball in front
