Has there ever been a score review that over turns an umpiring decision?

I.e if judged correctly as a point, it then brings up whether htb was called before or after Keane crossed the goal line.

If after as it looked on the replay, then the score review overturns the htb call.

Watching the game, I got the feeling they had no idea how to untangle all that. So made it umpires call.
IMO it was either a point for smashing into the post or deliberate, from memory like the worrell one earlier in the year he had plenty of time to do something else before going over the line.

Smith for Laird is a downgrade even it it's minimal. Smith can bomb it 50m but Laird will be more serviceable in the tight finals pressure cooker. His quick hands and decision making is a bit better than Brodie's who does his best work in the open.
Laird is great at the running backwards defensive mark. Gets us out of trouble time and time again.

Plenty of bizarre umpiring decisions to comb through.

I want to highlight one though. First quarter, Berry gets pinged for a high tackle (that wasn’t high).

He then proceeds to do that stupid push in the back when the player is on the ground.

Now I hate when players do this, but it happens multiple times a game and it is ALWAYS let go by the umps. Always. But not today.
I said the same thing at match.
Exact same thing.
Stood up and yelled it.
Norf fans near me turned around and clapped.

They then cut to Clarkson who was laughing and clapping. Now we all know that Clarkson would have complained in his presser if that happened the other way, so classless and extreme hypocrisy are the only way to describe it really.

Said this before we had the 4 least capable umpires for the least consequential game of the season. They were not cheating, they are just no good. Heck the chick boundary umpire had to come in ten metres for throw ins. That’s how low on the barrel we scraped. Not a single chance any of those umpires do finals.
I believe a couple were umpiring their first AFL game? There was a huge umpire cheer section of friends/family where I was sitting for them.

3.2G (should've been at least 4), 15 kicks, 12 marks, 6 hitouts.

What a gun.
If he isnt All Australian this year then something is really wrong.
While Darcy and him are the two best forwards in the game, and they are both different to each other with regards to strengths, I'm not swapping Thilthorpe for Darcy in any world.

Laird, Soligo and Dawson all cited. Fortunately only fines. Boy are they scrutinising us closely now! Don’t want us to do too well in the finals, do they?
And Hinge for staging? Wtf how are we the only team that get these fines when Daicos and Butters exist?

What did people think of Xerri vs RoB last night?
Tap-wise and around the ground, I'd give the choccies to Xerri (RoB did apply 7 tackles --- Xerri, 12 --- but had only 27 HO and 2 marks).
This is from The Mongrel Punt (H.B Meyers):
"Xerri was a monster, and it came as a surprise to me how good he was in this game. Not because I hadn’t seen him dismantle other rucks this season, but because I hadn’t really seen anyone dismantle ROB at all this year.

O’Brien has been excellent at limiting his direct opponent in 2025, but Xerri was at another level in this one. He had 25 touches, 35 hit outs, seven clearances, and 12 tackles, as his second efforts matched those in the ruck contests.

ROB had moments, but he was outclassed by Xerri ...".

I think O'Brien will benefit from the week off; we'll need more from him in the QF.

It's critical that ROB does another monster tackle on DeGoey in the first that hurts him and has him hurling abuse.
