Just goes to show the difference isn’t that great when you get a leg up everywhere elseOver half of Geelong's team out there tonight are players from Late Picks, Rookie Draft, or unconventional backgrounds.
Just extraordinary.

Chris Scott the master coach. Pretty much explains it. Best in the business and only really Macrae is close.Over half of Geelong's team out there tonight are players from Late Picks, Rookie Draft, or unconventional backgrounds.

Is every Brisbane player playing for free kicks?
Been to the Richmond board lately I see.

Probably the most underrated coach in the past 20 yearsChris Scott the master coach. Pretty much explains it. Best in the business and only really Macrae is close.
It's always an enjoyable read isn't it.Yes. My favourite board. The lunatic fringe

Most pathetic scene on the tv tonight. Downright embarrassed himself.
Almost certain Natanui must be taking a dump on your chest in that profile pic, it’s the only explanation for you being this irrationally angryJust goes to show the difference isn’t that great when you get a leg up everywhere else
You can’t lie that you’ve underachieved big time in the last 10 years based on final round ladder positionsYou seem bitter and miserable by comparison, so I'm going to say it feels great.
We don't play home finals and 3 of those finals losses have been to MCG teams at that ground. You could say we're one flag short in that time, but are usually about the 3rd or 4th best team (which years were Geelong clearly the best and didn't win it?). This is where you get to say soft kills at GMHBA elevate us from 4th or 3rd to 2nd or 1st some seasons when we've had a good, but not spectacular side. You can’t lie that you’ve underachieved big time in the last 10 years based on final round ladder positions

2016 was the one that got away imo.We don't play home finals and 3 of those finals losses have been to MCG teams at that ground. The emy Awards will see it the sameThree of the greatest finals series goals you'll ever see from Rayner!
What do you expect them to do, win 6 grand finals? LolYou can’t lie that you’ve underachieved big time in the last 10 years based on final round ladder positions
You go for afl love childs. How Pathetic. But thats saints fans to a tee.
You’ve got the two highest paid players in the league M8, be happy and rejoice.
Just saw the tape of the double free.
Gotta wonder what is going through the umpires head to call a free like that with the “offending team” taking a shot at goal at the other end of the ground.
Absolutely zero feel for the game, before you even consider that the free wasn’t there. And then to follow up with another nothing free… just wow.
I thought Cam Rayner embarrassed himself to be honest. You’d expect a small forward to play up those two incidents, but I thought arrogantly getting in his opponent’s face with “tough man” antics afterwards was a bad look given he just flopped twice. I don’t like it when Papley acts like that, but this looked like another level.
It’s hard to feel too bad for Geelong given its history of playing for frees, plus they completely outplayed the Lions so no real impact.
They cheat.
I don’t think we have others that are ‘notable’ for it as such. Most players probably ham it up to some degree but that from Rayner tonight was pretty abysmal. The first one was just a joke.
Why would any non Geelong fan would want to see them up there year after year. Or any other team other than one's own. It's like those European football leagues where the same few teams always win because some Russian or Saudi billionaire owns them and buys the best players, managers etc. Don't get why fans of other clubs still watch or care.Geelong fatigue in full effect, everyone is so over Geelong, applauding flopping in hope it helps Geelong lose, beautiful to see.
Win more than one. They’ve had more opportunity than anyone else whilst also getting a dream fixture every year, yet still aren’t close to the most successful side of the last 15 yearsWhat do you expect them to do, win 6 grand finals? Lol
For a team that’s never bottomed out in recent times, they’re what every fan would want out of their club. Always around the mark and can pinch a flag any year.
It’s what I hoped the Lions would develop into when we were shit. 7 years of finals now for the same flags as Geelong in that time and I am more than happy, Cats fans would be too.
Hawkins had a dive against Hawthorn in 2022 that was at least as abysmal as Rayner's.

'We'd still be a powerhouse if it weren't for the CFL'.![]()
We pissed away a GF at the GABBA, straight sets and a GF loss as well. We’re easily comparable, yet I’d rather that then whatever we had from 2010-2018.Win more than one.
