lol fair.

I actually ideally would want to move the picks for future 1's. so we have 3 F1's next season (ours and then the 2 we get from GC) and just cop 1 season of hell this year. But I'll also be happy to take 6+7 to the draft, just less than ideal. but I also don't know the draftees but I'm sure JT knows better.
Imv your far too impression-al on what people have said about this coming national draft.

There will be some beauties available... many are becoming way too needy to judge all drafts against the so-called super drafts.

This draft won't be as bad as what some are saying... especially the first Rnd.

Later on, I would wait for the rookie draft, and mid-season drafts, to find more uncut gems.

Tim Lamb and Richo: We need to get older. 2 first rounders for Houston. 1 year later, selling the farm to get younger. How on earth Tim Lamb is still in a job is unbelievable.

Thank you sweet Christian for creative internal issues at the club because without that Houston would be at the Dees and it would've put us back 5 years.

Chasing Houston was crazy then, and even crazier now after seeing the season Houston had and then absolutely mental considering we're gutting the list now.
Goody held a lot of sway within our club walls, together with Richardson... they decided on the direction of our team moving forward... and so then the list managers recruit to suit those needs.

lol **** Lamb is weak. Takes first thing put up. At least push for pick 19

Will end up a late 20s useless pick in no mans land. Only reason we may use it to get another one of GC first rounders with points.

Not too concerned about this one. I'll be fuming if we are weak with the Petracca trade though.

Disappointing to lose McVee but I don’t think you can expect more than what we got for him.

Meh.
Key thing for our forwards is delivery which seems to be King's big focus. Mihocek, if fit, could be handy but doubt he'll be much of a NEEDLE MOVER in many games. And if we're clearing Trac and Clarry the salary isn't a worry
Transition into F50 is a two way street.

We chose to play skinny along the boundary under Goody and Richardson...and this helps the opp defenders to double-team us inside 50... particularly deep inside F50.

We missed a couple of drafts from the second Rnd and on... losing the ability to find a rare gem from the midst. and we brought in NQR's.

Mihocek will teach our young players on-field to lead at the ball carrier, their timing to do so, and also with the coaches to get our ball movement coming thru the corridor, to set-up right.

This is a good decision... particularly for our taller kids.

Expect that, before those picks, there'll be Allen compo, an Annable bid, a Uwland bid and a Patterson bid. So likely 10 and 11 (provided GC uses other picks to match Uwland and Patterson).
I never even contemplate the draft... by adding in the F/S and academy players tied to other clubs.
I just don't bother reading about those players.

I would rather read about kids who'll be available to us in open draft spots.

I have been one of Clarry’s biggest supporters over the journey. But the time is right now. The game is changing and he seems to be very one dimensional now especially since 2023. He showed some decent signs late in the year. But with a new coach etc it’s time to move him and get what we can.
Not me. He has never been even near one of our best, over the history of our club.

B&F's are voted on by the coach aren't they. Let me say, 'clarry' goes nowhere near Ronald Dale or Robert Flower.
Flower would run rings around 'clarry', so much so 'clarry' wouldn't know which way to kick.

Not a shadow of... # and then add in Maxy Gawn to the list, and Oli just doesn't cut it.

This all because McRae made a joke and Dad got pissy and stormed out of the best and fairest
Make me appreciate how quiet Marcus Ashcroft is.

That pick for McVee honestly feels adequate. Outside of his debut season and supposed "potential" don't think he's shown enough the last couple of years for us to try and leverage a higher pick out of freo

Surely we don’t take these mid picks to the draft if we already got White and Sinnema to land.

Wonder if we can train Sinnema to play Mcvee’s old role.

Speaking of getting pissy, imagine signing a long deal, ****ing around, being given the out and backed multiple times and when you're finally told to take a hike, suddenly you crack the shits

People have literally had to fall on their swords to take accountability for you when you won't lol

If we get pick 34 for Oliver surely we do

Trac and 23/27/34/41/60 for Picks 6, 7, Roger’s and 17
Zero chance Gold Coast accepts that
