Rumour has it that , that Murph rat got chucked off another Swans site , i wonder if he's ventured on here .
There was a former board poster who gave it to him on X yesterday
He just despises Rowy

Can use it on-traded for Serong or part or some other deal, we paid basically nothing for Rosas and will pay basically nothing for Serong, I'm not sure why we expect Collingwood & Buller to be any different.

We've offered Buller an extension, we want to keep him. At least a pick for Rosas had a small value to it for GC.

Remains to be seen what happens with Serong. If Hawks give him away for free, unlikely, doesn't mean we should do the same.

Not worth straining relationships with other clubs and player managers. Pick 61 may not hold much value, but can still be an asset in terms of trade leverage and flexibility in the draft and also points.

Buller only played because we had a huge number of injuries to KPFs, likewise Rosas & Serong would have played if GC/Hawthorn had injuries in their respective positions.

None of them would be in their current clubs best 23 going into next year and are all out of contract.

61 would be our third highest pick in the draft. We've currently got 11, 32, 63

Assuming we go to the draft with 3 senior list spots for the 3 academy kids, it would be a slight improvemet.

In addition, after bid matching on all the earlier players, 61 would come in a fair way as other picks get removed from the draft by the matching process, so it would eventually be worth points and likely end up in the 40s. In that scenario we'd probably use it for a matched bid on Kyle, or to pick a bolter if Kyle falls to the rookie draft.

Alternatively, we could use it as part of a larger pick swap for Serong.

My suspicion is that both Serong and Buller get done for pick swaps and points trading.

Pick 61 is worth zero points. We have limited spots, so we're unlikely to use it after academy matching.

From what has been posted its looking likely to be 2 First Round picks and Florent for Curnow as it stands. Might be some minor picks exchanged to suit current and future academy/FS needs for both clubs, ie our picks next year for their picks this year

Where has that been posted? Its hardly a deal that is going to blow us away from the Swans as what was posted from one of our own posters

I think it's more a case that if Rowbottom and Hayward have been ruled out, there's nothing else left unless something comes out of left field.

I'd be surprised if that package got it done tbh

He still played and showed AFL qualities maybe Rosas has but Serong hasn’t yet. I mean he looks great at VFL level but Mr Francis did too

Yeah, true.

They can make an offer, and I am sure the Swans will make a counter offer and then they will meet in the middle. It's how it works. Pick 61 can still be an asset though. "Choose your battle" is what comes to mind. Walking Buller to the PSD is really not worth it at all in my opinion.
