I've said it before but I'd be interested in Shannon Neale. I'm not sure why he'd want to play 3rd Banana behind Jezza and Curnow

See, this is where things get interesting. The Cats will have to shift a player.... but, who gets that player? Maybe, we are more interested in that player than Curnow? We give Geelong the capital to close on Curnow and Marshall but we get a player we like and hold some capital. If that player was Connor O'Sullivan I'd be a happy man

If we really want Curnow Punts, then we have to give up someone they value & Hayward, as much as we love all these blokes, was one they chased hard last year before he signed & along with Ollie, I'd be happy to not have to watch him play in our reserves because he looked a shadow of himself running around there for those few weeks.
UIt's actually a credit to the club if we are prepared to be so aggressive in order to get someone we really need & want.

Now having said that, IMO it won't make a difference to our end result because we still won't be able to defend against the best teams & plonking Curnow forward only assists us when our players are busy running harder the one way & that is when we go forward. Gone are the days of Hanners with his two way run.

Me either. This is probably the only other option given a Rowbottom trade didn't work out though. They wouldn't accept 2 picks and Florent.

Jiath is up for trade. I'd turn him into a Mid. He has the agility, big body, strength, pace, and he uses the ball well. He is one of the most athletic footballers out there.

, between them in the 22 and 24 GFs they have combined for 55 disposals. Of which 33 of those disposals have come in the second half of those games when it was over.

We shouldn't say someone is shocking based on 2 average performances in finals (e.g. Hayward).

All in all I basically just proved that basing someones ability or worth off 2 GFs we got our buts kicked in means basically nothing.
