Jiath is up for trade. I'd turn him into a Mid. He has the agility, big body, strength, pace, and he uses the ball well. He is one of the most athletic footballers out there.

Just no. Panics like no tomorrow turns it over like no tomorrow

They are professionals being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do a sport they love.

I think they are fine.
Correct, Hayward will be fine.

Doesn't change the fact that it would be shitty to listen to your club try to convince you to maybe accept a trade while you're on holiday.

Yeah, maybe, in a few years time. We would be lucky if one of them has an impact in year 1. King may take a couple.

If you're going in on a player like Curnow because you're contending, you don't want to be relying on kids to fill Best 23 roles (in this latest variation Hayward).

Rowbottom to the Hayward role just have to find a Mills replacement down back. Alternatively we look at going one slightly smaller up forward (extra small forward) fine in theory but in practice who knows

Ugh, hopefully 1 x first if you're getting Hayward and Florent.

It’s basically Hayward only, Florent is a salary dump for a better word

Rowy's a lesser mark and having him as an outlet option a) doesn't sound good and b) doesn't use his strengths.

who takes haywards tackling pressure?
Cleary is probably the best bet 3.3 tackles a game is above average. Campbell is 3 tackles per game so not bad either.

Hannily and Bowman both have chances to establish themselves if they can show they can apply pressure and lock the ball in.

I'm still of the opinion either getting Curnow or not I don't mind either way and if it means Ollie and Hayward are out that's ok. Hate to see Hayward go though. However if that does indeed free up around $250-300k I would be interested in what the Swans can also do next FA. Adams will be off the books so it could be a big acquisition. So it might not just be about this deal overall.
