Does anyone think Rance is in trouble for his late and clumsy attempted spoil on Bruest?

Definitely careless not intentional.
Medium impact? Or low?
To the head.

1 week if medium impact, but cause he's an AFL love child may get low impact and only a fine.

Come down to medical report.

Careless - tick
High - tick
Impact?

Well Breust was down for a while and couldn't take his kick, can easily be assessed as medium.

Might be in trouble

If he concussed the bloke then he should be in trouble. Otherwise, carry on.

Ok so a blatant late hit to a player in the head is ok unless he knocks the player out?

There is duty of care surely Rance was not going for the ball?

Who was it that kneed Rioli in the head during the melee? Certainly wasn't Rance, but more likely to miss a week

Rance will get a fine only due to Breust staying on the field, even if ruled intentional (which lets face it - it was). In all honesty I was annoyed Breust didn't come off - Breust was dazed, unable to take his kick and the Hawks medico should have insisted he come off. Medical report will now HAVE to say low impact, though I half expect Breust to miss next week with concussion.

Another Tiger may be looked at for the dangerous tackle (also on Breust), where his head was slammed into the ground over the boundary whilst both arms pinned. That could also be a week, but more likely will not even be noted.

Will depend on Breust condition (nothing reported on yet) so a fine at best (hopefully), if concuss then it's a week.

That was Vlastuin, look similar to the Sidebottom tackle, so I woud say no problem.

Mumford did exactly the same thing to Riewoldt last year and wasn't cited. Think this is worth a fine and a caution.

Breust copped two big hits in the game, one from a tackle that was late and outside the field of play and one from a hit that was late and after the marking contest

will be interesting to see if either or both get looked at and how they determine damage if any to Punky to use in grading either incident
