I had Melbourne down as the worst performance of round 1 but this has to top it. When Freo put 141 points on you there has been a calamitous structural breakdown. Dreadful way to start a season. Brad Scott has his work cut out for him to say the least.

North fielding Polec, Hall, Pittard and Tyson. Didn't need to go down that path of topping up. About to lose by 80 to a team no one rates. With their star forward recruit not even playing. Yikes.

But on Freo, what a win. This time last year they were flogged in an equivalent result and it set a tone for a poor season. 21.15 from a Ross Lyon side people expect to score 70-80 a game too.
