You haven’t seen Harry andreneco play have you...

Watch Calder when you can kids special
Harrison Andronaco - good inside ball winner that shows some grunt and white line fever attack on the ball with no second thought or respect for his own personal safety. Can play both inside mid and small forward however not as adept at the latter. Would be better suited, Liam Baker style, playing down back as his primary role and going into the mid to relieve some of the full time mids in my opinion.
Can blaze with the ball and just kick it forward at times but can also show composure and make good decisions with ball also, showing that he would be easily coachable in that area of his game.
He is still raw in terms of exposure to good level footy and bigger bodies so untill i see that side from him its too hard to tell if there is any p.o.d compared to others who play a similar game style but are exposed to bigger bodies now and then.
I have heard a lot of talk about him recently from others so the second half of the year will be interesting to see.
He is one on my list for the second half of the year to watch for a lift in his game to try to spot a p.o.d for him. That list is long though, so he is in a mix of players i will keep an eye on.

In my eyes he has many traits to be a top 5 pick and have an extremely high ceiling and come the end of the year he still may be a top 6/7 pick, but, as i said (in my eyes), i don't like the fact that he cannot seem to consistently win contested ball and his disposal efficiency is not up there yet for me to have him higher. He shouldn't be dropping on my board as much as he has, but others are playing better in their roles at the moment and have to be promoted up the board. He has not dropped here due to his form but rather due to others showing more (in their roles).
I think your assessment is pretty spot on and injury aside. I particularly agree re his disposal

Next friday will be my first phantom for the year with and cropping the list into a July top 60, then August will be a top 50 with a phantom draft and in September there will be a top 40 with a phantom draft. In october a top 40 with a 1st round phantom draft only, then November will have a range of lists, top 40, first round monty's, draft smokies, and my final first round phantom.

Correct, i have seen him play a few times for Dandy, (unless you are talking about a different justin davies) i haven't been moved by any part of his game apart from the fact that he is a solid boy who is good in one on ones, nothing jumped out at me to have him in my top 70 which was done over 3 weeks ago mind you, and he has been used as a bit of a swingman, on occassions playing in the forward line. afl sites, cal twomey team is what i think your referring to, i have not seen it and never pay much/if any attention to it, that was put out late yesterday. so a lot can happen in 3 weeks, however as far as i am concerned he hasn't been in the best players on any of those weeks but may have polled well in the teams bnf, as i said before he has shown good one v one traits and is a solid lad. i had not seen anything to put him in my top 70 from almost a month ago, but that is not to say he isn't draftable or rookie worthy in my eyes. my july top 60 is out next friday and he is not in that 60 either.

Thanks Smythe, you get Freo points for making sure Motlop lasts past our 2nd pick but you lose points for not getting one of Amiss, JVR and Williams to last to our 2nd pick. You also lose marks for letting WC get Erasmus, if we arent allowed him, he better go interstate

Swap out Blake Howes for Connor MacDonald and ill be happy with that haul, Callaghan looks a ripper, Long is under rated and MacDonald could be really handy, i would be stoked with that haul.

Sorry bud. It was a real toss up, and I may go Erasmus if we get a champs away and he performs there, I just rate Johnson’s mid work higher Currently. I love the way Erasmus goes about it too, don’t get me wrong, but it was a little bit of “what if cerra leaves“ that had me go this way. I can’t see the big guys lasting till your 2nd though. With wce midfield arrangement they may be happy if it goes the other way too.

my thoughts were hawks need a bit more f50 options and Howes has that. As well as being a wing option and could possibly play in the hb role as well.

Interesting Mock. Curious about your thinking behind Fremantle preferring Johnson over Erasmus. And would love to hear your thoughts on Ditmar as well.
As stated above, I currently rate Johnson’s mid work over Erasmus, and if certain cerra* leaves it’s a perfect pick, if he doesn’t then yes maybe Erasmus.

Just with Brisbane’s first two picks. I’m definitely agree with Sonsie if he’s there, but I don’t see us going two mids.

We would most likely be going either the best HBF or kpp on board that that pick.

I agree a little bit, but when doing the mock draft i thought gws will not want to miss out on fahey(most damaging off hbf i think), pipping you by one spot, and there are some developable kpp's and overagers too, late in the draft that will be available, so i went with best available (in my mind) at those picks in the brisbane game mold, giving speed and attacking flair with the appetite for tackling....with the mind of - next year is the kpp year.

We have Will Ashcroft and Jaspa Fletcher coming to us next year. We probably won’t have a first round pick next year. Probably not a second or third round pick either.

Any reason why Owens is the only bid you have not being matched?

Can you give us a quick rundown of the players you picked for Richmond?
sure. hope this helps
Ben Hobbs - 183-80 - hard nosed ball winning mid - good hands, 2 way gut runner, effective and efficient user, smart positioner at stoppages and spreads well
Sam Banks - 184-72 - smooth moving and classy defender, effective on both sides (feet and hands) high game iq, smart kid/captain like material
Judson Clarke - 179-69 - pocket dynamo who can go into the middle but also finds the goals, slick mover and very quick, pressures very well
Mitch Owens - 190-85 - (stk acad) grown 18cm since start of last year, good above head and below knees, good kick, multi-positional with high ceiling
Mitch Knevitt - 193-83 - big mid can play fwd, hard tackler, stands up strong in tackles, raw but coming on in leaps and bounds, also high ceiling
Jai Serong - 192-80 - strong bodied versatile player, fwd/def/mid, good hands, effective user, clever in game iq, 4 quarter effort still to work on, big upside

when doing the bids i felt they all came arou

when making the bids i felt they all came around the mark, but with that one i thought it may be too early for stk to want to match i guess, he is showing good fwd craft - similar to the way richmond like their fwds to play so why not have a crack to steal another academy kid

We have Will Ashcroft and Jaspa Fletcher coming to us next year. We probably won’t have a first round pick next year. Probably not a second or third round pick either.
fair point, i wasnt thinking too hard about possible scenarios next year just the depth of kpp available. but yes in the lions case i see your point and in my previous mock up draught i had williams going there on the second pick but at the same time thought sonsie probably doesnt slide into the 2nd (perhaps he may) therefore sonsie to bris, gc wilmot and then williams not getting past nth. you are right though, with those two (ashcroft and fletcher) next year bris may opt to trade both to go up or trade 1 back this year
