What are the chances of Henry missing?

Didn’t look to be moving too well last night.

Hard to say. Seemed to be a nerve issue, which is obviously less harmful to his chances than structural damage to bones, tendons or ligaments.

If he does play it will be with a jab and likely some more hobbling.

We may shift Inspector Gadget to defence and bring Stanley in to ruck if Henry isn't fit to play.

Cleaned up on Ashcroft when he won the Norm. Missed out on Danger when Smith fluked him.
I'll go either Ashcroft brother or Danger for the norm and cats by 17 points.

Danger doesn't pass his shot off to Cameron to let him get in on the action and they award him the NSM instead IMO.

Can we take a moment to think how much of a force the Lions have become.

Less than 10 years ago they were a basketcase. Bottom of the ladder and couldn't pull a crowd. Now thay are playing to go back to back and getting a 60k+ stadium built as their home ground.

Remarkable turnaround.

While I am sad that the Hawks will not be in the final match, I think as a footy game this should be a spectacle. I think the Lions will win though most of all I hope it will be an amazing game with every player coming out of it uninjured.

Random observations

If Bailey Smith was to win the Norm Smith he would be the second player with the same last name to win the award (Isacc the other), the other being Maurice and Cyril Rioli. (If you don't count Norm).

If Mannagh wins the Norm Smith he would be the first to win the VFL grand final award and the AFL grand final award.
He would join Maurice Rioli (WAFL) and Nathan Buckley (SANFL) in the state league and National double.

Patrick Dangerfield will move past Leigh Matthews for finals played taking him to 30.

This is a guess but If Brisbane win Gallop will be the third least experienced player to win a Premiership.

Brisbane have the better midfield and forward line and should win pretty easily.

Didn’t look to be moving too well last night.

We have been cautious with playing injured players in finals ever since Stokes but Stanley and Henry are both going to test their resolve here. Blitz is versatile but can't play two positions at once. The Henry "nerve" thing sounds like complete bull to me, more likely they jabbed him up to get him back out there and who knows how it will come up post game.

2 best teams if the year to face off. Thought whoever lost the QF would come back and face their victor in the GF.

I think cats by a whisker but I dont think it will be like the QF at all.
Cats had it all their own way that night and lions wont let that happen again.
Stewart out is huge and gives a lions a massive chance.

Hopefully both sides bring their best and we get a grand final for the ages.

The only teams that could’ve challenged the Cats were the Lions and the Giants.

So for the sake of a good game I’m glad one of them made it.

Even so, I reckon the Cats by 4-5 goals.

Other than that, me (and probably every other neutral) would love to see the first ever extra time Grand Final. Can’t see it happening in this one though.

In 2018 WC beat Collingwood in the GF after beating them in the QF.

Difference was that all those QF were close, the cats lions QF was a blow out!
