I thought you said Charlie West would have a better career from here than Curnow because Curnow was on the decline?

Sticking with that amongst all your other shit calls?
It might change if Charlie can free himself from the detestable bonds shackling him to the Blues.

I don't get why people follow a team if they view it as premiership or bust - particularly Carlton fans.

It's not premiership or bust. riding the high's and lows of the club you support is what it's all about.

using preliminary finals as a measuring stick of a teams success though is ****ing stupid as. there's a reason why they keep track of premierships & they are what every club is striving for. ask any relatively invested footy fan they can name every premier since they were born really, do you think they could do it for the prelim finals teams?

collingwood have planted all over the AIA centre rooms that their purpose is to win premierships.

Prelim is a year where you've won a lot of games and at least one final. So seems a pretty decent measurement to me.

Spoons is also a good measurement - so too are the years where you were really shit but didn't win the spoon. What result do you guys use to measure shit - or is it only spoons, like it's only flags? Makes sense as 2025 was a relatively good season for you guys.

Huh?

If I'm suggesting West will have a better career than Curnow, do I really need to spell it out to you that the basis of that assessment is that Curnow stays at Carlton and West stays at Collingwood?

Really?
Untried VFL player will be better than a 2x Coleman medallist if he stays at the club he won said Colemans 😂

Its like you try to out-dumb yourself every post you make.

I understand why Carlton supporters glaze Richmond....

'If they were as shit as they were for so long, albeit maybe not as shit as we have been, but can eventually manage to win 3 flags in 4 years, there's hope for us yet!'
Sad but true, the only flag model they can viably follow, they've done the first part so well 😆

Its called taking the piss out of you LL. Because it's entertaining when you melt!
So you admit now you're a fraud?

Yesterday you were adamant, then it's no-one cares, now you were just taking the piss.

I can see right through you, even now you can't help yourself with lies.

I'm starting to think that Walsh isn't even the greatest of all time. He's probably bullshitting about that too.

yeah you’re not getting it.

you’re not considered more successful than Richmond in the modern era because you made more prelims than them. They’ve won more flags than you = they’re more successful.

if you want to do mental gymnastics to find a measuring stick that conveniently suits the magpies, then anyone else can come up with another one.

are Collingwood also more successful than Brisbane? They’ve made finals 16 times vs. brisbanes 13.

No I get what you're saying. I just don't agree that boom bust is better than consistently good

Sounds like a Carlton coping mechanism whereby you can pretend that you're equal with the Saints, whereas they're a long way ahead in the modern era.

There's no doubt in my mind I've had more enjoyment supporting Collingwood in the 21st century than Richmond folk have supporting their club.

If it were zero to 1 flags, or a bigger difference, the Blooser may have a point.

But one flag difference but all the other massive wins along the way by Collingwood, it is a no brainer.

Bloosers just haven't had enough big finals wins to understand the rationale.

They should though. Look at how much they carried on in 2024, when they qualified for 'finals' and the Pies didn't...

All this talk of cliffs. How do they not see that falling off a cliff for us is an above average year for them.
