Any confirmations of D2/D3 promotion and relegation teams? Heard whispers wattle park wanted to go up, obviously we got 1 team leaving and Masala joining d3, what happens with hawthorn and aquas, 1 of them stay up?

Masala??? Absolute basket case. Were getting belted in the lower to mid tier 3rds competition. Credit to them for coming out of a recess of sorts, Wouldn't you do it off the back of a sustained period of success?

Hawthorn will come down.

Aquinas staying up from all reports.

Therry & Elsternwick down along with the 2 up leaves the even competition

Few teams in D3 potentially going to clubbies, hence the delay in division release. Potentially no one coming down is a conversation and an extra team coming up. Waiting on confirmation of what teams may go to clubbies even tho Swinburne announced a senior coach may go to thirds only.

3 Promiment Senior players gone for North Brunswick coming up after the grand final embarrassment. Not a great start to the offseason.

It's in the portal. Hopefully the divisional teams vote no.
No point winning flags in the divisions then, Means nothing for promotion.
PH dominant and get rewarded to win it again. No incentive.
Pretty big kick in the guts to Canterbury and PH. Canterbury were competitive this year and now back to D3.

Shambles.

Why wouldn't these clubs want this? Canterbury, PH, SMS get a legit chance at another flag, OY get a chance to win their first post merge after losing two in 3 years.

All those divisions look super even.

And most importantly, There is a bottom division where there won't be 300 point losses (HOPEFULLY)

Canterbury spent 9/10 years in division 3 with their Reserves only playing finals once in 10 years.
To win a flag then be demoted off the back of beating everyone in the division last year except Old Yarra, would be a kick in the guts.

St Mary's should feel very disappointed not having the chance to have a crack at taking the club to premier football.

Whitefriars probably the lucky winners out of this being 2 points ahead of Canterbury on the ladder.

This obviously caused by the whole St John's leaving as well.

Interesting to see what the clubs vote.

We earned our way into D1. We consider ourselves a club that should be in D1 and hopefully pushing for C in a few years.
