Doesn't work that way.

The deficit gets applied to the equivalent round of the bid this year. So because Freo bid in the first round, the deficit would be applied to our first round pick next year.

Rosa managed to do in one draft what Dodoro hasn't managed in 20 drafts. Build a balanced midfield.

We've got Robey who can play forward, Sharp who is the big-bodied contested mid and Farrow that is more outside leaning and a good kick that will start as a HB flanker. Complements the likes of Durham and Caldwell very well. Then we'll bring in the elite talent in Bewick and that's our midfield sorted. Caddy and Kako also with obvious star power. Without getting ahead of ourselves, that's a pretty exciting list we're building on paper.

It could eb that its not worth it and we just grab best in other position of need
