The only positive last week re mids was rankine finally starting to get CBAs (all be it in 2nd half when we were smacked)

We need to start by just getting our best players In The positions they can impact most

Not sure Murray forward as an idea is a good start with that but kicks did hint there were some th wings they liked when experimenting In the 4th and that would be the only obvious one he could have raised his eyebrows at

But as far as mids go we simply need to unshackle rankine and make him a centerpiece again. Rachelle needs to maintain high numbers (at worst these 2 need to combine for 100%). Soligo fit or not and assuming he is he’s back in there

Stop stuffing around and identify what our best midfield mix is 1st then pick the rest of the team from there

Not blaming Jordan at all. I am just annoyed cos me like most as supporters/die hard want to win games and play finals and the events of the last 2 weeks have just about derailed our season. it's just a typical year at the Adelaide footy club when things seem to ruin any chance we have of contending.

It might sound insensitive but coming back last week was then a mistake, need to support him but as a club captain it throws out the squad cohesion for those 2 weeks

I think he partly played last week knowing playing Friday after Wednesday funeral in robe would be a stretch and the alternative was actually 3 weeks off not miss 2 and play this week

Grief isn’t a linear thing and funerals are incredibly draining. He’ll play whenever he feels up to it.
