I hate to be that guy but there's next to no chance that can happen. It never has, he's basically injured 95% of the time.

He was physically fit to play all of 2017, all of 2018, missed all of 2019 (OP), fit to play all bar 2 games in 2020, and all bar 5 games in 2021 (hamstring), and all bar 6 games so far this year (calf).

He did miss another two games due to self-isolation in 2020, and was omitted for several games in 2017 and 2018 and played VFL instead, but that's not relevant to a question about how injury prone he is.

Aside from OP he hasn't had any other serious injuries, and none of them have recurred once he returned to play, unlike Stringer, Fantasia, Smith who really do spend more time injured than playing.

The benefit of playing Stewart would also be coverage. If we get an injury, or if Rutten wants to change things around because something isn't working, then he can always throw Stewart back into defence.

The priority is for kids to play in their best positions and the senior players go where the gaps are. Back had gaps, now Reid is playing there and the gap is up forward.

Also at the stage of his career now, showing that he could play reliably at the other end of the ground will be way better for his career future than being in and out of the side as a key forward last year.

Biggest knock I had on him as a key forward in 2018 was probably his marking so here's hoping he's improved that as much as it looked on Saturday.
