Good Luck. See you in a few days -

Peace,

Mooster.....

I just went hunting for my weekly fix of Tuesday Morning Quarterback......no deal. In fact, it appears that TMQ never even existed if I search ESPN for it. Why I wonder? So I enter the name "Gregg Easterbrook" and whooah hits galore!

Turns out he wrote an article on a blog about the new Tarantino movie Kill Bill, in which he made some comments about the head of Disney (owners of Miramax.....and ESPN) that were construed as anti-semite. Bam.....fired his ar.se!

I wont bore you all with the details (look it up!), but I was curious as to your take on this....what happened to free speech? Admittedly he apologised for his comments, but surely as prolific a journalist as he is (writing for over 20 years) can be allowed a mistake, and thus a s econd chance....or is it simply a case of firing the guy that criticises the boss crossed with Disney still being gun-shy after the Russ Limbaugh (sp?) fracas?

More importantly.....where the hell am I going to get my fix of TMQ??!!??

1 San Francisco 49ers
2 Tennessee Titans
3 Miami Dolphins
4 Seattle Seahawks
5 Baltimore Ravens
6 New Orleans Saints
7 Pittsburgh Steelers
8 Philadelphia Eagles
9 Chicago Bears
10 Minnesota Vikings
11 New England Patriots
12 Kansas City Chiefs
13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
14 Indianapolis Colts

Cheers.

The head of Disney - Michael Eisner (sp?) is an evil bastard. Disney is an evil organization. If Dr. Evil ran Disney, it would actually be less evil.

Easterbrook writing for ESPN means he indirectly works for Eisner. Free speech extends to the courts, but not the work place. Especially when you talk **** about your boss. And most especially when your boss is that bastard Eisner. I hate Disney for multiple reasons. I boycot Disney as a secondary religion.

Dunno. NFL.com has loads of information, and certainly Easterbrook will continue to write. Keep 'googleing' him.

Peace,

Had a god-awful week last week, on the heels of that 13-win week the previous week.

While I'd prefer a bit more consistency along the lines of 13 wins-- and who wouldn't?-- let's aim for ten wins, minimum.

My tips...

7 - Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
6 - New England Patriots over Cleveland Browns

1 New York Jets - Chad will be the difference
2 Baltimore Ravens - No QB = no win
3 Seattle Seahawks - whichever run run game works will win
4 Chicago Bears - lions don't win on the road
5 New Orleans Saints - time for the panther slump
6 St.Louis Rams - only playing the steelers (right Tony)
7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - W L W L W L =win this week
8 Kansas City Chiefs - much harder to run though KC than skins
9 Miami Dolphins - Chargers have no defense
10 New England Patriots - time to give Tom the green light
11 Tennessee Titans - steve can run, throw and score.
12 San Francisco 49ers - now which 49er team will turn up?
13 Minnesota Vikings - Giants need to score 30 to win (Ha ha ha)
14 Indianapolis Colts - Payton to make up for a limited run game

7. Baltimore - Nailing down 3rd string QB wins this game

I'm figuring the numbers now as we speak. You had a good ballsy top end, and you were the only person on the planet who knew Arizona would upset San Francisco. You were even 7 points sure. I'm impressed.

Peace,
