In what could be his last year, I would be proud to have one Shaun McManus as my 2008 Big Footy Buddy.

Like Azza was tempted to double up but the quality sharks still on the list couldnt be ignored.

I nearly chose "The Shadow" my buddy for 2007 But in the end I went for the player that doesnt always get the kudos he deserves and the fact he has abit of mongrel about him.

My selection is the one and only Steven Dodd as my buddy for 2008.

Poshman's is quite straight forward, and he chooses Marcus Drum...

Prattsta asked me to select "best available" from the remaining senior list players. I had MCarr, Browne, Head and Duffield to choose from, and I have gone with the one I figured would be likely to get the most games this year (although as weird as this may sound... I have been known to be wrong on very rare occasions.... ).

Decisions, decisions.

I've had Black and Dodd the last couple of years, guys who sort of manage themselves and don't really need a buddy except for their off field shenanigans, so I've decided to pick someone who cops a bit of flack around here.

I had narrowed it down to Hase, Bradley and Mark Johnson. Bradley was tempting because having him as a buddy would have given me extra opportunities to pay out on Tarrant since Bradley will probably play forward and there is no way his goal kicking could be as bad as Tarrantino's. And I just love bagging Tarrant. But I'll go with Chops though since I've been his biggest supporter of late.

The Latin delegation select Paul Hasleby.

Gav said that he wants Dessie. He didn't really, but expect an angry PM if anyone selects him before Gav gets a chance to make his selection.
