When you figure this out please let me know lol

Brady had one of his rare shit games. They happen every so often and 90% of them we lose, the other 10% he saves on the last 5 minutes.
Defence was ballin, all the O and ST. Even the blocked punt was becase Mesko was backed up without space. Hernandez was probably a huge part of the gameplan, and the cards were all over Gronk, worst holding i've ever seen go uncalled.

Speaking of bad calls - we've got a new worst call of the week. Ike Taylor with textbook coverage on Santonio (no contact what so ever), Holmes gets drilled legally in the chest after juggling the ball 3 or 4 times, looks like they want to call defensive on Clark, but after determining it was legal, they go to PI on Ike

From the second half of last year we are close to a top 5 defense this was a statement game against a top quality offense, 8-2 in our last 10 games now. Massive change to the Kurt Warner days where we would rack up big scores but couldn't stop anybody.

Huge f*** up the refs, probably won't cost us the game but still that is one serious screw up. I really hope the media pick up on that one....

I'd also say the Cards will get closer to Brady than the Cowboys do to Seattle.

.

Seattle to destroy you guys??? lol  Make no mistake Brady and his Pats will though!!

I admire your enthusiasm but honestly the Pats will slaughter you. If you had of joined the Armchair Endzone tipping comp run by Woodson you could of put some moolah where your keyboard is and tipped your Cards! ;)

This does not even warrant a response but i would love to see what odds you would give me on it and don't make a career change for a bookie anytime soon!
So not only did we get closer to the Pats we beat them, the first team to ever beat the Pats in their home opener at Gilette. Even if they had've kicked that field goal we still outplayed them and showed we are a legit team (On D and ST at least) and can compete with anyone but Dallas got spanked by 20 at Seattle....yeh good luck backing up from all the bullshit you were spouting at the start of the week.

Yikes - bit of a hero call that one!
I'll take it :thumbsu:

Just finished the ravens v eagles game. Dissapointed, have a bitter taste in my mouth. Congrats to the eagles, deserve the win in the end.

Our Offence really struggled today. Tough game next week for us. Could be 1-2

Tomlin on the sidelines, pumped up and rocking the aviators

Unsportsmanlike penalty on Morgan pushes the Skins out of FG range... and the 61yd attempt falls short...

Ouch that was such a stupid penalty to give away.

Glad I didn't get up early this morning to watch that crap. Lose to the Cardinals at home, WTF!?

So much for CBS's prediction of a 16-0 season for the Patriots! Was a shocker of a kick... nowhere near it!

Miami is a must win for us. Steelers is a bad matchup for us but we just got bad as the game went on. The whole offense struggled in the 2nd half and the defense were giving away too many 3rd down conversions.

And the Jets would have to have the worst starting running back in the league. Even before he copped that injury, Greene was constantly running into brick walls. Eleven carries for 23 yards is worse than mediocre.

A few musings from week 2.

1. The replacement officials must go. They are beyond terrible.
2. Congrats to the Cardinals fans on the board. That was a well deserved victory, even if the last few minutes were eventful.
3. The Patriots D finally looks to be a dominant unit. To paraphrase Borat great success.
4. CJ Spiller = wow. He's having a breakout season, with or without Fred Jackson.
5. 2 weeks into the season and the Chiefs are a flaming pile of ****. For the talent on that side, geez they're disappointing.
6. Mike Tomlin will be the NFL's next great coach. He looks like a guy players would love to play for.

Just saw the replay. Terrible and no real reason why he should of missed. A bit of a suspect call on Gronk for that hold too.

After watching a bit of the Rams/Skins game here at work they need to get the real refs back, these guys running the show are a bunch of clueless idiots.

Fisher is a bloody superstar and Spags brought the culture of losing to New Orleans.

Well worth losing the XKO.

Now to watch the game when I get home and maybe the second half of last weeks game to see how much of an impact the refs are making.

Also very unusual when every team in the NFC West wins. Is it just me or the NFC East isn't as strong as it has been in the past? Either that or desperately out of form.

Doesn't totally excuse their play of course, but tbf, they were missing half of their starting D last/this week, and their few definite studs are game-time raw after missing all of last year/healthy amounts/decent amounts of preseason (Even if self inflicted aka Bowe).

Get a decent QB first...

There were questionable calls all game but to be fair not as many as the other games. The Fitz "incompletion' was a ridiculous call by that ump plus one of the spots on a Pats 3-13 that was 1-2 yds short but the refs gave them a first down and we had no challenges left to do anything about it.
