Guys can we please keep it civil and on topic? I don't come here for goofs and spoofs, leave that to the professional comedians like Rove please.

While I thought we did reasonably well I mist admit a few things about out drafting still concern me. The major one is that we didn't pick up a genuine inside mid unless they're looking at Robertson for that role our someone on our list already.
The other was that we took a couple of in between sized defenders who play key defender roles. Only time will tell I guess and Cutler will most likely be a hbf rather than a third tall with Gardner taking that third tall role. Just worried he doesn't have the offensive game you want in that position.
Don't mind the speed of Taylor. He's an interesting one where there seems to be 2 very divergent opinions on him. He could make or break this draft for us.
Overall it looks alright but I still have some concerns with our list still but most of those were there pre draft.
I'd say that's a thorough assessment.Hard to tell from limited evidence, but pretty much all the new draftees seem to be fairly robust, confident individuals. Coincidence?
Well, there was talk earlier in the season about us faking for frees, is this what you meant?Yep.
Just needs to bulk up a bit. Could see him becoming a Marc Murphy type of player.

So were Longer and Doc...
That made me smileI read this morning in the Courier Mail that Lewis Taylor's dad is a Fitzroy supporter. It read "His father Simon,a Fitzroy supporter was beaming with pride when his son joined the Lions on Thursday night."
I doubt this kid is leaving anytime soon.

As soon as the draftees were drafted you can see it in their face that they were planning a return flight in two years...

Not surprising considering the family hails from the old Fitzroy recruiting zone, but awesome news nonetheless and his old man did look proud as punch in the clip with Rocky.
Don't want to curse the lad, but I'd happily give him the #1 jumper unless he opts for the jumper of another Mortlake, Fitzroy and Bears product in the #13 worn by Leon Harris' younger brother; Bernie.
