Stephen Milne, St Kilda, has been charged with a Level Two misconduct offence (225 demerit points, two-match sanction) for misconduct in that he made unnecessary contact to the face of Courtenay Dempsey, Essendon, during the fourth quarter of the Round Four match between St Kilda and Essendon, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday April 20, 2013.

You're forgetting the 'roll of the dice' activation point component. Can somebody explain how Morris' was "negligent" and Kommer's "reckless"? If Kommer's was reckless, then there's no doubt Morris' was too
I don't understand this eitherHow is Milne's incident seen as reckless not intentional? He had his hand in his mouth pushing down. Seemed pretty intentional to me.
The MRP punish the result not that act. Not the best way to operate. Also pissed off Neville Jetta got only 2 weeks with a bad record thrown in when Ryder got 3 with his early plea.
Ryder was going into a contest, both he and McPharlin were charging like rhino's, McPharlin taps the ball forward meaning Ryder is out of the contest but contact could not be avoided. Ryder stops and braces himself and the inevitable collision happens, just that McPharlin had left himself wide open due to reaching for the ball.
Jetta's hit was from another era, it was a dog act. He left the ground and if it wasn't for Whitfield's awareness where he propped then Jetta would've taken his head off. Jetta ran up to him and leapt off the ground clipping his head whereas if Whitfield had've kept on going it would've been lights out.
The fact it didn't KO him is neither here nor there in my opinion. It was a dog act and worse than Ryder's.
haven't seen Morris's one, but Kommer not slowing down or trying to change his arm position or pull out of the bump means he got reckless. if kommer had tried to put on the brakes but still made contact he would have got negligent. Can somebody explain how Morris' was "negligent" and Kommer's "reckless"? If Kommer's was reckless, then there's no doubt Morris' was too
He clearly changed his running direction to minimise the damage.haven't seen Morris's one, but Kommer not slowing down or trying to change his arm position or pull out of the bump means he got reckless. if kommer had tried to put on the brakes but still made contact he would have got negligent.
