I agree with a lot of the stuff you have said but Yarran has been a failure I wouldn't want him on my side.

Yarran is without a doubt, one of the most frustrating players I've seen at our club in a long time.

When he is on song, he is simply exhilarating and capable of anything. Problem with him is that he does tend to pick & choose when he turns it on.

I cannot tell you who the right coach or mentor is for him but if he ever gets matched up with that person, he'll win a Brownlow !!

Plenty of people in football know how dangerous he is and what he is capable of and opposition coaches are wary of it too.

Please don't mention Brownlow medal ever again when your talking about Yarran

Denham said Watts would be at Carlton last year. He's an imbecile who hates Melbourne.

Maybe Watts will go, maybe he won't. If he does, it will be on our terms. Watts won't walk out on Melbourne.

Just like Rivers, Moloney and Martin didn't walk out last year?

Face it. If Melbourne players are offered the chance to leave by an opposition club, they're going to grab it with both hands and run.

Moloney walked out on Melbourne, Rivers wanted finals, Neeld flogged Martin off.

You face it: Everything you've said is wrong. Max Gawn resigned last week after reportedly receiving very good offers elsewhere.

We're going through a lean patch right now, but players will stay loyal. If Watts wants to leave, he'll be one of a select few who do and he'll go on our terms.

Good blokes don't walk out on their mates. Watts won't walk out on his mates.

Only reason he'll go is for more opportunities to play up forward.

All were pushed out by the idiot Neeld

A Brownlow????????????

Not even in the after-life.

You'd be ****ing lucky to get a 2nd round pick for him.

With the issues Yarran obviously has, I wouldn't pay that.

wouldn't be the first player mick rubbed up the wrong way :D clubs do if the player suits there needs, an it's not like yaz has had a bad year,21 goals from 15 games in a team with 3 smalls so at a club like the crows it would be like 30ish, i'd love my team to throw a pick an swap of 3rd round picks, he is that finisher a club like mine needs...

If he was up for a move out of Melbourne I'd be happy if the dockers offered up their 1st round pick for Watts (hopefully around 15-18). He's exactly what we need and I think would improve considerably in our side.

You or the crows are welcome to him, I'd hate to see him at Port

I actually rate Mitch Robinson. Would be happy to have him at Geelong. His hardness would be welcome and he would thrive in our environment. What would be required to get the deal done? Considering he hasn't really played much this year you couldn't ask huge things for him. I would offer

Mitch Brown - straight swap
2nd round draft pick and maybe an exchange of 3rd round picks.

Pretty fair for both teams I reckon.

Do you watch the guy play at all? He's rubbish. I swear if he wasn't a former number 1 pick and got drafted at 30 or something his name would never come up in these topics. Dawes would be better ffs.

He had a very questionable attitude at Swan Districts 5 years ago and that looks like it hasn't changed, not good.

Thanks for that.

Any player with a piss poor attitude can kill a club's culture.

Yarran aint worth the risk.

Not a trade as such as he's a free agent but North big into Cooney.

This is just insulting. You make it sound like Yarran is the most naturally talented player in the league and all he needs is to work hard and he'll win a Brownlow. There are plenty of players with a huge amount of talent that actually work hard as well, and are streets ahead of Yarran.

You think he'll consistently get 30-40 touches and carry a team on his back like Ablett? You think he'll be the top tackler in the league while also delivering truckloads of goal assists and goals like Jack? He'll be an even more damaging clearance player than Dangerfield, O'Meara and Pendlebury? He'll turn games off his own boot as a forward in a horrible team like Cameron? He'll have more impact around the middle than Naitanui? This is what you're saying when you make the utterly insulting claim that he will win a Brownlow - that he would be better than all of these super talented players.

I do believe that Yarran is capable of being one of the better rebounding defenders in the league.

Not consistently though. He's the type of guy who could win a game for your side but also the sorta guy who could play absolutely terrible and be a reason you lost.

Where he goes from here will be interesting. He has the potential to be a very, very good player especially in a good side that plays an attacking style of football.

Agree with this just like Lewis Jetta.

I can't believe how thin your skin must be ?? o_O

Yarran is a player who has skills that are freakish, is that too hard for you to comprehend. For him to reach his full potential (ie. mentally & physically), he needs to play under a coach who can extract it out of him. I don't know who that coach is or if in fact one exists that can get it from him.

If he never matches up with that person, what we have seen thus far is all he will ever achieve.
