I have no idea about the players we picked up nore have I read any posts in relation to em.. but I downed half a slab and a coupla udls to celebrate last night re.

I am assuming you drank half a slab to take away the taste of the UDLs.

Right now we should have 4 Category A Rookie spots available, with our list standing at 39/1 (plus 2 Cat. B Rookies). If we take Keeffe and Thomas back that will still leave 2 more rookie spots, though Tim Golds is considered a good chance to fill one of those.

I hope we get James Parsons. Was phantom drafted in the 50s, around where Sier was picked. Was stiff to miss out, should certainly get rookied somewhere.

Seems like crocker was a " too good to pass up on" choice. Hine reckons we were only looking to use three picks but when he was still available with our fourth....why not?

He certainly seems to have a fair bit going for him, Callum Moore is another I'll be happy about if we snare him.

In all seriousness though, will be a good thing for traditional footy if this rivalry does wake up again. Was the perfect class rivalry back in the 50s.

You've got the Weideman and Moore grievances, then Dawes and Lumumba for us, and Howe for you guys.

Two proven players who have shown an ability to be best 22, with Keeffe at times being our best KPD and sent to take Browns man when he was getting beaten, and Thomas on a number of occasions racking up 30+ disposals and kicking multiple goals at AFL level...

Nah you're right, let's roll the dice on a random rookie in one of the weakest drafts in a long time.

I don't Rate Thomas that Highly and With Adams,Terloar,Greenwood and Crisp. I Struggle to see him getting a Game

With the draft being supposedly the weakest in a long time, what will the Rookie Draft look like? What's the odds of picking up a player who ends up getting a game? I imagine Hine & Co probably took this into account before committing to take Thomas & Keeffe. Putting aside their incident, they at least were both capable of playing Senior footy.

Losing a few cms from bending his legs and having a flat hair cut

The AFL website has Wills 191cm, Sier 190, Crocker and Phillips 185. Even if Sier is bending a bit Wills looks to be a fair bit taller than the other three, and it's hard to imagine Sier could be just 1cm shorter than Wills.
