Cams brotherReally, really like this kid with a pick from the 3rd round onwards, elite pace and a real bull.
West Adelaide
.....well that may be a slight exaggeration ?
Exaggeration nothing slight about it..Now Bicks by my reckoning there's about 40 players so far that you have a liking for.....well that may be a slight exaggeration ?
How about a list of players you don't like?
For me ......i loved Ladhams last year, thought he had some genuine upside .....watching the U18 champs and man, has he gone backwards ......can understand why he was only a state invitee ......just not feeling the love anymore![]()
Ronke does seem like a good prospect is there a particular weakness in his game, to be only rated as a 3rd round pick?Exaggeration nothing slight about it..
If you care to go back in this thread you will see early in the year I raved about Andrew McGrath the 1st time I saw him, long before he was anointed by the "experts", kid's a jet same with Ben Ronke who I commented on after seeing him play here in Ballarat earlier in the year, another with serious wheels and a big, strong physique that will probably go later in the draft but one I feel certain has all the attributes for AFL.........will be ready from day one, mark my words he will be a player.
Kicking can be inconsistent some seem to think, though the day I saw him it looked OK to me, easily the best for the Cannons that day and held his own against a very strong Rebels midfield that consisted of Hugh McCluggage, Jarrod Berry and Willem Drew who will all go 1st or early 2nd round IMO. His speed and acceleration from the contest is what really caught my eye along with his well developed physique, ready to go immediately in year 1.Ronke does seem like a good prospect is there a particular weakness in his game, to be only rated as a 3rd round pick?
Really ?Goes to show that the 20m sprint numbers aren't anything to judge real speed by. I wouldn't class Pearce or Watts as fast players.
How about that Ronke?I really hope we take one of Tyson Stengle or Jarmaine Jones, indigenous lads both with a good bag of tricks, innate goal sense and speed to burn...late rounds to rookie list.
He won't be there still I wouldn't think, if he was would be an absolute steal and then some..How about that Ronke?
Depressing, we won't have a first or second rounder this year.Think this is more proof the 2016 National draft runs deep and strong..
Lyons trade?Depressing, we won't have a first or second rounder this year.
Lyons trade?
I've seen both close up, especially McCluggage and I'd dispute that strongly...McCluggage is an absolute Rolls Royce....and I have had a very high opinion of McGrath all along, long before the Draft "gurus" were really onto him.Heard Matty Lloyd say he thinks McGrath will go to Bombers for pick 1. The way he described him and McLuggage, he sounded pretty convinced McGrath would be the better player.
