I'd do that.
Need Richmond to not stink it up so much and make it pick 6.

Could trade 16 to Hawthorn for Hill, still have a first round, and get McCarthy through the door.
Hopefully Mayne then gets us a second round and away we go

Hate to break it to you. He is in his prime and fills a need in 2 areas for the short term. If this was 1994-2006, we would of traded a top 5 pick to get him. we can get him for free.

Vickery has shown more than apeness. I would keep Apeness as well. Apeness at worst would be a depth player.

They have Collingwood's and Geelong's First Round picks. Collingwoods for Treloar and Geelongs came via Carlton giving up Henderson.

From the current ladder they will have 7, 15 and 17.

Nicholls is an upgrade on our ruck depth for sure. Matera has more ability than he's shown, his problem is consistency.

4th in the AFL in 2015 for goal assists
7th in the AFL in 2014 for goal assists
Averages 18.1 disposals and 0.95 clangers per game
Has played at least 22 games per season since 2013


So he is durable, relatively clean with the ball and pretty heavily involved in their transition inside 50. Seems like a Danyle Pearce upgrade IMO

Pardon the intrusion, was just keen to get a gauge of what you honestly thought of Clancee and his future at Freo beyond this year.

Is it true hes an unrestricted free agent?

Would he be on the chopping block for you guys or a part of the mini rebuild?

Not sure why Ralph has pinned him to your 2nd rounder in a potential Hill deal, particularly if hes a FA and you dont have a 2nd rounder...

I've always liked him but not sure hes what we'd be after with our list management goals.

Interesting though.
