Who's the best KPD out there?
Taranto has won me over this game. Would spend pick 9 on him.
I like Garthwaite but he's only 192cm.Who's the best KPD out there?
I know that guy.Personally, I like the look of Brennan Cox.
Isnt Garthwaite more of a medium flanker? plays like O'SheaI like Garthwaite but he's only 192cm.
When I've watched him, he's been a stopper on key forwards, just has the ability to get ball himself. It's hard to tell who's on who with regard to key positions this game - none of them are really getting involved.Isnt Garthwaite more of a medium flanker? plays like O'Shea

Good work Ken Hinkley/recruiting department. We've seen the astronomical difference a gun KPD can have on a team and we sat on our hands as Carlile started falling a part and now we enter a draft that lacks what we need most.Griffin Logue is probably the best KPD in the draft. Cox and Maibaum I like as well. There's a lot of 190-192cm defenders this year. No real big key defenders.

We only have the four true key defenders, so I don't know about depth. They're all young and look good though. We'll need to draft one to develop, whether it's this draft or next, who knows.our back lines looks good! even has some depth... last thing id be going for in this draft
We need a reliable defender in the mold of a Rance, Talia or a Weitering on top of the defenders we have. We concede ~18 points more per game and score ~18 points less than the top teams, that gap needs to be eliminated. We only have the four true key defenders, so I don't know about depth. *changed to four
It's incredibly rare and difficult to get a Rance, Talia or Weitering and apart from Weitering, they take years to develop. Who knows with Austin, he's started his career well.We need a reliable defender in the mold of a Rance, Talia or a Weitering on top of the defenders we have. Look how badly we did when we lost Trengove and Carlile from defense. Our depth is wafer thin.at the age profile of the 4 i think we can afford to miss this draft.
Go hard on an inside mid, KPF and just other mids
At least with Essendon he's going to a club that isn't stocked with other young talent. Their list is shit, but should rebound to the 9-13 range next year to not get another year of really good picks. They are still going to go off a cliff in 2 - 3 years due to earlier draft penalties. It leaves a bad taste that Essendon's reward for systematic doping will be Hugh McCluggage.
