Disappointing to have another replay but should be able to keep the squad players sharp at least. Would play pretty much the same side but would swap in Aurier given he'll be banned for the CL. Good clue today as to why Toby has been left out of big games. Rusty as *.

Impressive debut from Lucas Moura.

Pretty confident based on that he'll be better than Salah.

Very lively first start for Moura. He has that ability to dribble the ball at pace to move past players which leads to lots of fouls in good areas. For all their brilliance Alli and Eriksen don't really have that. Hazard has it and its why he's one of the most fouled players in the league.

Alli and Kane in particular are gonna love him in the side. I'd start him on the weekend. Would mean we'd still have Lamela and Son to use off the bench. Decent depth atm.

Thankfully we have 25 fit players at the moment and can afford to have these replays. Probably rotated too heavily and played some rusty players in key areas. When playing lower league sides you've got win the central midfield battle and/or have commanding centre backs.

Our midfield trio of Winks-Wanyama-Sissoko are either just back in Winks-Wanyama's case or have horrible first touches which lower league sides pressure well Wanyama-Sissoko. At the back we had the kid Foyth and Toby who is only just back from a hamstring tendon injury.

That red will make this 2nd half interesting

Don't understand "controversies" these days. Read it was "controversial" - looked at it. Two foot, off the ground catches him high. Red all day long. Shocking stupid tackle. Just because City have been on the receiving end doesn't mean they get a free pass.
