Good draft overall but the lack of KPP on our list is turning into a very serious issue

If the pies are confident about getting Lynch next year. This is the perfect way to draft. These guys are modern game style players add lynch and it looks even better. When we draft players with lack of pace and footskills everyone complains. When we add those players everyone complains. When these guys come in they will also make players like crisp and WHE harder to match up on. I think it was our best draft in a while especially considering we didn't have a second rounder.

That’s right. No need for a second rounder. We got 2 first rounders!

With Stephenson remarking we'd spoken to him the more than any other club and reports that we identified Murphy early (first) it seems we got two draftees we rated highly. Perhaps even the one's we wanted most.

KPP would have been nice, but most shaped as more that undersized 192cm type and outside run was also a list need. Without seeing them play I'm happy with our selections.

I've been quite critical of the club over the last 18 months, but tonight's draft was a good one. The boys we took will take time, but there is fertile ground there for sure.

Well there was no Real KPP Standout at Pick 6 and all the other Talls went in the 2nd Round. Can Only Pick what is there

2012: Martin, Dwyer, Frost, Yagmoor & Ben Richmond
2013: Gault
2014: Manboob, Big Show (Abbott), Armstrong (lel), & Cox (hooray)
2015: Keeffe (banned), Smith (still with us, hardly a KPP), Thomas (banned), Golds & Wyatt
2016: McCarthy, Schade, Mackie & Lynch (somehow survived the cull)

Aside from reading like a who's who of AFL turds, it shows that we really havent put the rookie list to good use at all. Even the "projects" dont make it on for longer than a year generally.

Absolutely loved it tonight. Thought we could have used our fourth on a KPP but I'm guessing we're going tall in the rookie aside from Oxley. Really pleased Murph slid so all in all some players with high upside.

Mate I hope they become brilliant all of em.. but I'm not gonna friggen pretend I'm rapped with a cricketer converted to an AFL footballer cause he played well for his high school.

In your gut if you feel happy.. good for you.. I doubt the majority of us are any where near happy with these selections.

I'm seriously fed up with the father son romanticism we seem to give precedence too over picking what we really need. What is the value of Tyler Brown in a chocka block midfield.. do we have to feed every relative gelati do we. Unbelievable seriously!
