In terms of age profile, it makes bugger all difference.

Can't see it happening though. The Suns will get this done.

I thought Weller has been very specific about being traded to Gold Coast and not just "Queensland"

Much as we can dream about snagging him, I just don't think we are any realistic chance.

• Kennedy - if Carlton doesn't work out we're continuing to chase.

Just like to say to all of those who are losing their minds and are jumping at shadows in regards to Noble and our current trade period think you need to have a little bit more faith.

Schache has certainly gone backwards in the marketplace then. Taken at Pick 2 in 2015 draft, played 27 Senior games, so he knows what it is about and now this 199cm 20 year old is ranked in the mid 20's by some in the 2017 draft? My view that we should keep him is firming. We shouldn't accept our Pick Two in 2015 being written down so obviously and then have the heartache of watching that player possibly turning into a star for another club. If this was the Media, Schache would be 'Warehoused' simply to keep him from a rival network. He is under contract and I assume nobody held a gun to his head to get him to sign. We actually hold all the aces here, so unless we get a deal where we break even or come out on top then we should not trade him.

Yep, would hate to trade Schache, would be potentially trading him while his value is at the lowest it will ever get. Showed a lot in his first year and could easily turn into that star.

Very happy to join Dylan12 bandwagon to keep Josh Schache and develop him into the best player possible. I like it.

I'm probably a little more positive about the club being on the right track in trade week than Dylan, but there's always room for everyone's opinion.

I would have thought we'd have a greater chance persuading Weller to go to the Lions than Kennedy. Mayne the Lions think they can get Kennedy at a cheaper price than Weller.

Weller is most definitely worth 12 in a weak draft. Classy and versatile player who fits our list profile beautifully.

Not for an out of contract Kennedy.
