I just checked out darcy forts highlights. 205cm ruckman from central districts. 25 years old. Would be a perfect ready made backup for goldy.

I don't think he'd make it through to the rookie draft this year tho.

He was behind Currie and Co years ago when playing at Werribee, but he was only 84kg wringing wet. He then went to western bulldogs VFL then over to the SANFL to get more exposure. He had grown and grown every year since TAC.

In his draft year he played for the western jets and was the best tap ruckman in the TAC cup. Clubs didn’t
Take a punt on him because they didn’t think he’d get over 90kgs which is way too light for a ruck. The raw ingredients have always been there, he is a very smart footballer aswell.

How much credence to people here give to Knightmare compared to someone like Cal Twomey?

Interesting that Twomey has Thomas at 13 and Scott 20-something in his form guide/power rankings, where as Thomas isn't top 20 (I think he might even be in the 30s for KM) and Scott even further out.

Is that a serious question?

KM is one of the biggest imposters on this site, I'm convinced he hasn't seen most of the kids he's commenting on and if he has, his opinion is pretty much rubbish.

The bloke is renowned for changing his phantom's right up until the minute before the draft, essentially just mirroring the media rumours as they come out.

Just have a look at his most recent power rankings, Caldwell has gone from 14 to 7 in the last month, despite no games being played for over 2 months. His rationale "I re-watched a game of his from last year and reevaluated".

No, he moved him up because the actual journo's in the know have written articles stating he will be taken in the top 10. He amends his phantoms continually in the lead in so he doesn't look like a fraud this time next year.


Good luck to him, he's managed to hoodwink some money out of ESPN, but don't bother with what he's written.

One of the best IMO. Was only second behind Quayle for draft content, and now shes moved on to GWS he's by far and away the hardest working, most knowledgeable of the media mass, at least when it comes to draft time.
