He needs to do more. Balic doesn’t look bad - good hands. Could get more of it then he managed today but he looks the part.

I’m not surprised we delisted Whitey. Mildly surprised he was ever listed though.

Pedo would have smashed it today - Casey’s forward marking power depletes significantly without him. I like Port and their supporters though, and it was a nice day for it.

Corey is younger than Josh. Seems to have had a reasonable season for Casey. Was on North's list for a while, wonder if he's worth keeping an eye on for a rookie spot next year.

Yeah I reckon C. Wagner, Munro and Scott all in line for that affiliate pick up. Waiting on the likes of Lockhart, Lok, Machaya, Dipasquale and Lefau to kick their game into the next year. Pretty hard when we've got a healthy AFL list that is taking up the majority of our VFL best 23 as well.

Yeah I don’t think he’s coming into the seniors next week. Having said that, there’s something to work with if he can hold it together and keep building.

Dunno, he racked it up at Peel last year, just needs some continuity, also may be playing forward as that's his senior role ATM?

Yep Balic just needs a good run, no injuries or other off-field stuff at VFL level, play 10 or so games see how he goes. I think he can make it at AFL level.

I don't doubt his talent, but I'm just saying that even if he comes into the senior team and spuds it up I hope he isn't judged too harshly because I think his background at Fremantle means we need to give him a few seasons to get fitter

Also how interesting are the I50 efficiency/accuracy rates? We had more inside 50s and yet Port Melbourne had 10 more scoring shots. And we still kicked 5 more goals

It was that sort of game.

We did spend a bit of time dicking about in the forward 50 but not scoring. (Even so, those stats almost seem too weird).
