Sicily? The guy who was poor against Geelong, then missed a game? Seriously?
Yep Sicily isn't near it at this stageSicily? The guy who was poor against Geelong, then missed a game? Seriously?
You literally listed him in your team a couple of posts up. On the basis of playing well in 50% of the games. He's played three games all up. Two good (Rounds 1 and 4) and one bad game (Round 2). It doesn't mean he's not in the mix as there's still 18 rounds left and he could just as easily play well for the remainder of the season. Look at his numbers. Remember you're the same poster who said that Darling is a better player then Gunston.
Can someone explain to me why Joel Selwood is an automatic selection at all of these things?B: James Sicily, Robbie Tarrant, Rory Laird
HB: Shannon Hurn, Michael Hurley, Nick Haynes
C: Stephen Coniglio, Tom Mitchell, Steele Sidebottom
HF: Dustin Martin, Lance Franklin, Daniel Menzel
F: Luke Breust, Ben Brown, Jason Castagna
R: Brodie Grundy, Nathan Fyfe, Clayton Oliver
INT: Jackson Macrae, Joel Selwood, Jarryd Lyons, Oliver Wines
Of all the players that are questionable there, you question Selwood? Can someone explain to me why Joel Selwood is an automatic selection at all of these things?
I'm no Selwood fan (he didn't belong in the team last year) but he has had a good start to the season. Can someone explain to me why Joel Selwood is an automatic selection at all of these things?
Still other mids that are more damaging.I'm no Selwood fan (he didn't belong in the team last year) but he has had a good start to the season.
Brown has kicked 49 goals in his last 12 games, that's since it seemed to "click" mid season last year and he's just been completely dominant (excluding the swimming pool game).
This year, he's averaging 13 disposals, 5.5 marks, 5.1 goals, 126 SC points without that swimming pool game.
Going off the last 12 months, he's likely to kick 70+ this year imo, potentially 80+ if he continues in this form.
He won’t get picked because his type don’t get picked (they do win you matches though), but Ben Stratton should certainly be in the side to date.

No Daniher?Pretty rough, but will have a go after the first month:

Be nicer if ya club gave him more than a yearWarms my heart to see Dan Menzel in everyone's team and will be thrilled if he maintains his form and makes the real deal. Would certainly be one of the more remarkable journeys to AA selection of all time.
