Must want to develop a group of draftees from the same year who will all become mates and thus less likely to leave.

This is very true, we have if you include C Stephens, we have about 33 players that are ready for AFL, which has more list depth than any other club in the league atm imho.
I suspect we will add a mature player with that Pick 90 odd...

Not necessarily. They have a crap list, that is full of talent from last year and arguably the three best players in this draft also. Its best to add to the list in bigger batches with younger guys so they bond and stay. Sharp is the second best outside midfielder in this draft.

11 will push back to later teens with academy picks next year but its still a good deal. However 26 and a FR2 for 25 and an FR3 Gould i would have preferred.

11 is locked in.
