How does that work then? Did they get AFL dispensation to be able to do it?
They have the age profile of a lawn bowls club, isn't that exactly what the rule is there to prevent?
I think the 4 year period has to have passed before the AFL step in. So while it's likely they will only use 1 first round draft pick from 2017-20, they AFL will allow them this year to try and trade back into the first round. But I think if they haven't traded back in by next year the AFL won't allow them to trade their 2021 pick.
